I am absolutely smitten with the bands that MonoWear is releasing. I was all set to upgrade to a SS model so that I had more choice, but these bands look fantastic on the SG. The black metal band from them will be mine!

I have to admit that the band is pretty slick but there is no way I'm paying $99.99 for a band on a watch that costs $349.00

I was torn between Stone Leather Loop and Brown Leather loop. I ultimately went with Brown Leather. It seems like it will be the most versatile. I wasn't sure if the Stone Leather would have looked feminine.

These pics did it for me. I really dig both. The brown matches a lot of the Waterfield bag's looks and the stone is cool in a desert camouflage way...

I have been planning on putting a leather nubuck strap on my 42mm SG, but it is looking like they adapter folks are having legal woes with Apple's patent(s) for the locking mechanism.

I plan on buying the white band to go with my SG once they are available at the store.
But they just announced a 3rd party band support. So maybe I'll wait and see what the 3rd party companies make.

I like this and the blue combo of this band a lot. Unfortunately, the downfall of buying the 38mm is that those bands were not made for that size for some reason.

Hopefully there are some nice third party bands in the near future because I'm not a huge fan of most of the non-sports bands with this watch.

I was dead set on getting the green sport band... Until I saw a guy today at the gym with it. Maybe it was because it was on silver aluminum, but it looked too toy-ish to me.

So, I bit the bullet and ordered the white today. Guess I'm in for a wait considering those who ordered on release day are just now getting shipped.

other than black band

What other band you think looks good with the space gray watch ?

I was at the Apple store today and had them show me the Space Gray with Black Leather Loop. He was very secretive as they aren't allowed to mix different editions like that and only hooked up one side of the band and I couldn't try it on, but the black leather looked VERY GOOD on the Space Gray!

Just got my black leather loop delivered, to go with the SG SBS already received.

Like the colour match -think it looks really good.

BUT not convinced overall. Also, the Large strap is too big (see slight overlap).

Did measure my wrists, and thought I'd be comfortably in the Large camp.

The large strap is definitely too big. I like the look of the black leather but ultimately went for brown because I don't want to repeat colors. If you're going to wear the black the majority of the time it does look much better than the sports band.

Of course..he's a rich dude that Tim Cook is catering too. Us little people can't get those.

I ordered a white sport band and a blue leather loop, both scheduled for May 26th - June 1st delivery.

That being said, as soon as the orange, red and navy blue sport bands are available, they'll be on their way to my home.

Yes. The blue leather looks pretty cool.

I'm one of those crazies that ordered the Milanese for my Space Grey Sport. I just love the feel of it too much.

So this is possible? The Apple Store told me yesterday that the Milanese strap doesn't fit the sports watch. Reason being that the metal bar is missing on the sport model.

They all fit, they all use the same locking mechanism.

People have tried all possible combinations at the try-ons.

I don't see why they would discourage you from spending more money on a milanese band.

I'm pretty sure even the 42mm bands fit in the 38mm, they just protrude.

Thanks for verifying that. Makes a huge impact for me.!

I overheard an Apple Store employee telling a customer they couldn't use the Milanese or leather loop bands on the sports watch because "they used magnets". I can't imagine any universe where that's correct.

Only possible reason I could see not to up-sell, is that Apple doesn't want non-matching combinations seen on the street.

This is Apple however, and profit reigns supreme, so they would up-sell. These 'geniuses' just have no clue.

Here's my Space Gray with White Sport Band next to my Silver with the Black Sport Band. Both of them look better this way, in my opinion, than with the original band combinations.

Thanks for sharing those. I think I'm going to need to purchase the white band. Just wish we had any idea on when other colors will be available. I could wait for third party but with the sport bands I think apple really got it right.

I've been wondering if you can switch the pins on that fasten the bands — so in your case, you could have the silver pin on the black band and the space gray pin on the white band.
