I've been wondering if you can switch the pins on that fasten the bands — so in your case, you could have the silver pin on the black band and the space gray pin on the white band.

Yeah, that would be nice if there was some way to unscrew the pins but as it is I do not see any way to get the pins off of the band with out damaging the band.

I haven't bought many yet, just two from the Click Kickstarter project. One was the Space Gray stainless band and the gray leather band. I'm curious to see the quality when they get in, but I'm happy with the total price paid for them and the Click adapter.

anyone have any ideas for the 38mm?

I love the leather loop but since it's only made for 42mm I'm out of luck. I'm thinking about getting the click adapter, but I wanted to wait to see some pics once people got it in person.

I just don't like the SS look with the black aluminum.

Here's my Space Gray with White Sport Band next to my Silver with the Black Sport Band. Both of them look better this way, in my opinion, than with the original band combinations.

Just what I was looking for! Thanks! Debating getting the white band for the days I feel like looking like a hip hop star. :p

Does the white band get dirty? And is it easy to clean?

Sorry, I can't comment on how dirty the white band gets. I haven't worn it much since I received my Monowear black steel link band the same day and have been wearing that exclusively. I would think that Apple made the white bands somewhat easy to wash and keep clean since they don't want their watchbands looking bad.

Thanks for replying about the white band.
I'm also checking out the steel bands... but what about that alleged corrosion issue when steel and aluminum are in constant contact with each other? Are you not worried that could be an issue?

I'm not too worried ... yet. When I start seeing actual cases of galvanic corrosion on the Apple Watch then I'll worry. Plus I'll be swapping bands regularly enough that I'll see if anything troubling starts and put an end to it before it gets bad. I'll still be using the sport bands when I'm being active. The metal link will be for work and less active occasions.

Got ya... just saw your pics in another post. It looks great! too rich for my blood though. I'm going see if anyone wants to sell their white sports band to save a few bucks.

This is the end for me guys

I gave up trying to make the space grey look good , I sold it on Craigslist for $650 and now I'm buying the SS for $600 (July)
The stainless steel looks good with any band , plus the SS looks like a real watch not a dark fit band

But anyway live long and prosper :apple:

I'm really curious as to what the SG/white band combination looks like on the wrist from a distance. Any chance you could post a pic like that? :D I've been thinking of getting one, but am not sure as to what it looks like to an onlooker.

The first point I understand (although as more third party options appear on the market, will become a non-issue), but your comment about the SS looking like a "real watch" just sounds like a justification you're making to yourself. The SG Sport is a gorgeous device, way better looking than the SS IMO (of course opinions will vary). Even if you think the SS looks better, in no world will the SG be confused for a fitness band.

I got the large black leather loop and it's very comfortable. It's a little too long, though. I'm thinking of trading it in for the medium. I measured my wrist before the pre-order and it came out to 185mm, so I thought I'd be on the edge. The magnetic end almost reaches back up to the watch itself. Does anyone have the medium, and what it the length of the loop part, i.e., the magnetic half?

I have the same 185mm wrist — I tried both size leather loops on in the store and decided the large was too long and the medium too short.

Technically, they both fit, but if I pulled the large real snug, it came up over the edge of the watch.

No problem like that with the medium leather loop, but I'd hoped the leather loop would slip on like the Milanese loop or link bracelet — no need to thread the end of the strap into the slot every time. The medium size leather loop is way too short to go over my hand like that — however, if you strap it on (as Apple no doubt intends), if fit just fine.

Unfortunately, I don't own either size leather loop — I can only give up my initial impression from the store try on. I hope someone that's actually made the switch from large to medium will post.

Interesting. So you didn't order a leather band?

No!.. I couldn't decide which size to order. And now that I have the watch, I think I'll stick with the sports band for awhile. It's quite comfortable — can I assume you like how the leather loop feels? They certainly look nice.

I was at the Apple store today and had them show me the Space Gray with Black Leather Loop. He was very secretive as they aren't allowed to mix different editions like that and only hooked up one side of the band and I couldn't try it on, but the black leather looked VERY GOOD on the Space Gray!

This is sort of the ridiculousness I cannot stand about Apple at the moment.

I would love to see a Space Black Link on the Sport Space Grey wondering how the color combo would go!!

Me too, but Apple doesn't sell it separate, and I don't want to pay eBay scalpers twice the cost of my watch for one.

True but I have seen a couple eBay posts for just the Space Black link for around $550 that's not horrible. But I want to see the color contrast with the two before I do it.

I really would love a 38mm leather loop. After spending a few days with the sport band, I've decided I just do not like it for daily use. At the gym, sure. But at the office? It just feels swampy and uncomfortable
