I'm hoping Speck's case won't be too expensive. That one seems to work as Thin Fit but is as protective as rugged armor.[/QUOTE]

I didn't know about the Speck case!!! Is there any ETA on these yet?
Thank you for the heads up!!

This is the reason I returned both. I only want to quickly be able to strap on a case at the gym and take it off right after the work out. Neither rugged nor tough armor is good for that purpose.

I believe I heard $30 for Speck's offering but I'm not a big fan of the look. Rugged armor looks simple enough to take on and off. I like having the back protection so I don't sweat all over the watch.

We've got a review up covering all of Spigen's cases ;) The Rugged Armor is an awesome case.

That's what I thought too, but it actually takes a bit of time to put it on and off. I'm assuming you don't have both the watch and the case. You may feel differently after you put it on. Definitely something you don't want to be putting on/off at the gym.

I'm still thinking about just going with Thin Fit. I hate the spigen logo though.

Wow, Spigen really owes you for making their cases look so good! Ended up with a white Rugged Armor. Thankfully friend ordered a Tough Armor already so I can compare.

I'm about to grab a black Rugged Armor case and just wanted to double check if anyone with a silver aluminum watch has had any issues with it scratching the casing?

So I went with the spigen thin fit and loved it until I had to leave my house. It just snaps on and it is not a very tight fit. I have popped it off twice putting my purse over my arm and once just shoving my hand in my pocket. I love the look, but think I'll be sending it back

So just got both the black and white version from Spigen's 20% sale. Was about $22 for both.

I love both of them, they look and feel great. They add some bulk, but it doesn't seem as much in-person as the pictures make them out. Relatively easy to pop on and off. The side "quick contacts" button loses a little of its feedback and using the digital crown takes a little adjustment.

I had originally purchased a 42mm Space Gray sport, but upgraded to SS. These two bumpers and the ability to make it a flat black if I desire is good part of what sold me on the upgrade, no joke. Best of all worlds imo.

Here's a pic of white bumper on SS with black band:

Perfect for the gym. That's really the only thing I got it for. No scratches on my SS

Doesn't the Tough Armor take much longer to put on? I'm torn between that and the rugged armor but it seems a lot of people are complaining about installation and the TA falling apart.

It installs pretty quick and TA doesn't fall apart. If you are interested you can watch my unboxing video of the TA (Please forgive my bad english)

Tough Armor screen can pop off. however, you have to secure it pinching the corners. Most people just press it on the watch face. It happened to me twice and then i read on how to secure it tighter and that has worked well for over a week.

Anyone can report how the watch is holding up in the case? Did anyone bump their watch accidentally and thanked that they got a case?

Sure. I bumped my watch on the car interior door when placing my seat belt on. Can't say it saved the watch though.

I only use the Rough Armor for the gym.

I have the tough in Orange and the rugged in white. I love both of them. Both look good with either the white band or black band.

Lightly dragged mine against a painted cinder block wall at work when I was walking too close to it. More like a tap and slight drag. No issues and no marks on the case either. Just installed it the night before too lol.

Well, I got this case for when I go to the gun range but it scratched my stainless steel watch instead...lol I'll have to polish it in the near future.

Really? How does TPU rubber do that?

Anyway that is why I got the sports watch instead. SS is strong and hard but it takes little to mar/scratch a mirror finish of anything: so easy to detect over a rougher finish.

Sorry this happened to you

Rocking this case for a week now and no regrets whatsoever. It's cool and manly looking. I'm not too worried about banging the watch against anything when I go about my day.
