Well that totally defeats the purpose then!

The scratches are very light or minor. I was able to remove them with stainless steel polish. I'm currently looking for another case. This rugged armor might save it from a major scratch or chip. But it does still defeat the purpose.

I lieu that everyone is getting their cases already I decided to cancel my order and buy from eBay. Got sick of waiting when some of my friends ordered way after me just at the end of last week and they're getting their cases already, my brother even got his yesterday, so it's canceled. I'll just wait for SwitchEasy to release bands with the cases they're already working on and I'll get some from them.

Thanks. I ordered the Rugged Armor in white for my SG Sport. I was going to get the Tough Armor in Orange but some reviews said the top part pops off too easily and I also want to get the screen protector on 100% of the time.

Not bad, I was expecting a little bit of a "snugger" look. Already have the LUVVITT clear TPU ones soon to shop, was going to get the Spigen colored ones - gold or silver, not as thick as the Rugged one you have, so I'm sure they'll be alright as well.

Can you post some pics of the Luvvitt case?

Anyone else noticing scratches after using the Rugged case?

Check the critical reviews on Amazon. Others are starting to notice scratches now. I think most people must put the cover on and haven't taken it off yet. You can polish the scratches out but who would won't to do it daily.

Don't buy the spigen rugged armor case if you have the stainless steel model.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251955479917 This is a better choice.

Thanks for the reminder. Just picked up the white and the black versions to go with my SG sport coming tomorrow.

I loved the way the white and blue sport combo looked. Very cool to me indeed. I also already wear an all black G-Shock as I love the style and functionality of it. Can't wait.

I'll post pics of both cases on when I receive them (not sure about the white honestly but for $11, its not like I'll hate myself for buying it).

Is the inside of the white case completely soft like the black rugged armor? I read one review about the white case scratching the Watch so being cautious before I order.

OP I'm curious do you plan on using the case 24/7 or just when you are in a "watch dangerous environment"?

Has anyone noticed the Rugged Armour scratching up the sport models or is it only the SS variety?

Doesn't the Tough Armor take much longer to put on? I'm torn between that and the rugged armor but it seems a lot of people are complaining about installation and the TA falling apart.

They are both not cases you want to be taking on and off often. You have to remove the bands, stretch the rubber to get it over the watch. This part can be hard if you have a screen protector you don't want peeling. Then you have to get the straps back on. TA just has an extra step of strapping the plastic piece down on four sides, but that's the easy part.

I returned both. I want something like the Thin Fit for easy on/off, but I'm not happy with the prominent Spigen branding. Also, if I'm going to put a case on, it needs to be more protective.

Thanks a lot for the info!! Your black rugged armor was on the SG sport, right?

Correct

Same amount of effort. I would not change them daily, but once a week is cool. Rugged is great and that's my first love. has no built-in screen protector.

Tough Armor is only day one for me. I did have a hard time the 2nd time snapping the screen back on top of it. I've worn it all day and worked out with it for 2 hrs and it stayed put.

Cool. I'll probably change every few days, although ideally I'd only like to wear it at the gym and maybe a music festival lol.

How's the clarity of the built-in screen protector?

This is the reason I returned both. I only want to quickly be able to strap on a case at the gym and take it off right after the work out. Neither rugged nor tough armor is good for that purpose.

I'm hoping Speck's case won't be too expensive. That one seems to work as Thin Fit but is as protective as rugged armor.
