Spigen Rugged Armor review

Here is maybe an option for some... This the 42mm version on a SS BSB

Just received from Amazon yesterday. Just enough to protect from the everyday. Figured I would have it on while working around the house and everyday wear and then when going out some place nice take it off.

After a half day use yesterday it worked pretty well. It's not crystal clear up close but it's not really an issue. Also no issue with it on and using the charging cable.

The dots apparently have a purpose.

Thanks I was wondering about that case...The Tough Armor is over the top hideous and unnecessary. Apple stresses so much about the design and here we are covering it up with layers of plastic. The clear version still shows off the Watch design.

The design is only good if it's your style.

Personally the Watch is far too sleek and trim looking for me. I'm a big guy with a very rugged/outdoorsy look about me. The Watch just looks out of place naked. Even the 42mm is tiny and girly looking.

Cases like these help add some much needed size and adventurous style to the watch.

A quick snap of my Rugged Armor:

Looks Good Azzin!!

Is it still easy enough to use the touch screen with the plastic on front? I would be interested to hear your thoughts after you've used it for a bit. :)

Yes. When touching the screen, you don't even know its there.

I'll grab some better pix tomorrow from the side etc.

I went with the White Rugged case. $14.99 on amazon not a bad deal. I was against getting a case for a watch, but this actually looks good and keeps the sport/fitness look. I didn't put the screen protector on since it has a lip. no really need for it

Thing turns a beauty of a watch into a g-shock. Lol.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, I don't like the way the Watch looks. It's too sleek, too smooth, too techie looking, too plain, too simple, very "generic"

Just to be clear, I'm not arguing it. ;) Just pointing out that the design of the Watch isn't for everyone.

It's unlike traditional watches that only tell time but offer unlimited size and style choices. The watch is the only design choice if you want it's utility.

So "cases" will be more about style than protection for many people.

Not bad at all, but I'm glad I went with the Spigen Thin Fit ones, though. The rugged ones are a little too thick for my liking.

Me too, got the black one coming, and the gold one, for my SG 42mm Sport.

how hard is this to put on and off?

I wouldnt mind buying this and keeping it in my gym bag and throw it on while playing sports or working out. This way watch is protected during physical activities and then during business hours, i can rock it naked.

Just received my Black Rugged amour case today. Love it. Didn't like the screen protectors it came with as it only covers the face and not the curves

I got my white rugged armor last night. I am happy with it for my 42 mm SS wsb. The color doesn't match the sport band exactly as it is a brighter shade of white, but the difference is only noticeable if you are looking for it. The case does not affect the functionality of the watch and the heart rate sensor works as intended. The plastic is harder than I expected, which probably means cheaper, but at least it will not attract lint. I find it easier to put on and remove if I remove one side of the band, but you do not need to. I actually like the all white look of the watch with it on, but I will only use the case for biking and weight lifting. I also like that it disguises the watch when I do not want people to know I have it. Overall I am impressed with the fit and design considering how quickly they came out with it and I would recommend this to anyone looking to protect the watch during exercise.
