Does the Sport Loop get dirty easily? The silicone resists dirt better doesn't it?

Sport Band is stiff and doesn't breathe. Not very adjustable. I personally found those to be really uncomfortable. I gave all of mine to a friend.

I love the Sport Loop. I also love the 3rd party Milanese loops which I have in 7 colors. I only wear loop styles now.

I just bought my first sport loop yesterday and loved it instantly when I put it on. Later that night, though, it started to make my wrist itch. I was really disappointed and hope that it will maybe subside the more I wear it.

I found the Loop to be warm/hot to wear. Plus it retains water after washing your hands. Dries fairly fast, but you’ll have a wet band on your wrist for awhile. Eww.

I’d suggest the band, but even more I’d suggest and prefer the Nike versions of the band. The holes really do make a difference.

I have 6 sport bands that I love including Nike ones.

I'm curious about the sport loop, and (briefly) tried it on when picking up my Series 4 watch. It felt a bit stiff...worth trying on again, or...? It sounds like it softens over time. I like the look of the Indigo one.

I think you meant to say sport ‘loop’. Anyway I bought a Storm Grey one on release of the S4, but I agree the indigo one is nice too. I also like the blue one as well. Cape Cod?
I can see another SL in my future for sure. I got my SS with a sport band and have never taken it out of the box. I might give it a go one day but I don’t see ever wearing the white SB on a regular basis.
I was kind of turned off SBs trying them on in the Apple Store. Just seemed a pain. I guess that would go away after taking them on and off a few times. Might just try a generic one or two. If I like them I might buy one or two for what Apple wants for them. The SLs are no fuss, no muss at all. S

Oops, yes I meant LOOP (corrected my post).

Cape Code looks great too, that'd be my second choice.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Yes, with a little practice Sport Band very easy to take on/off.

Sport Band in the summer without holes is uncomfortable so I wear a Nike Sport Band in the summer and problem solved.

I feel the stiffness can be a benefit. I can wear AW loosely without the AW flopping around.

Sports Loop has enough stiffness and the aluminum has enough lightness for the same benefit, but stainless steel probably too heavy with Loop.

Milanese has no “stiffness” to it so must wear it snug.

I have several Bands and only one Loop. Loop is comfortable but unless I strap it down tightly, even my aluminum watch moves around a bit. With the sports bands, I can keep the band looser without it moving around quite as much. I'm also a fan of the Nike bands as the holes really help the band breathe. Great for summer and when working out.

I like both of them but I prefer the bands.

the sport loop is comfy, but when im in the pool doing laps, the band stretches a little. the velcro holds in the water though, even after doing a long swim. im not a big fan of the plastic bits on the sport loop, but it's not a deal breaker.

the nike band is great because it has more holes which ensures a better fit than the regular sport band. however, i feel the sport band is of softer quality than the nike band. i tend to wear the sport bands more than the sport loops because i work in healthcare, and i am constantly washing my hands.

Sport Loop! It's way more comfortable than the sport band, once I tried one on I never went back. As far as waterproofing goes you can get it wet but it does absorb some water - just pat it dry with a towel and it dries really fast.

Pros of the Sport Loop:
-Way more comfortable
-Infinitely adjustable (able to adjust it to give accurate heart rate readings during workouts without cutting off circulation)

Cons:
-Less professional looking, you might want to have a different band for when you want to "dress up" your Apple Watch

I tend to wear the sport loop most of the time and have a leather band (not bought from the Apple Store, their pricing is ridiculous) that I use when I want to dress it up (fortunately my workplace is pretty casual). I haven't used my sports band since I bought the sports loop.

Where did you get your leather band? I’m also looking to buy my first Apple Watch and I’ve spent way too much time trying to decide on a band. I wish they made the 4 in the smaller sizes, too. My wrists are tiny and the smallest will be as big as my wrist. I’ve never worn a watch, but I’m only looking to get this because of the ECG capability (I have an arrhythmia). If I’m going to wear it I’d like to at least feel like it’s cute and not super bulky. I’ve seen some leather bands that wrap and they look really cute, but seem pretty expensive (although nothing compared to the leather bands Apple sells)..

Check out the Hermès leather bands. They’re even better than the Apple leather bands. You can buy the Hermès bands separately. No requirement to also buy the Hermès Apple Watch too.

Will the little hump that the sport loop creates smooth out and lay flat over time? I like them, but that gets on my nerves. LOL
