So this isn’t the ceramic model, it’s just a a quick vinyl wrapping I did. Buttttttt, I think the white and midnight sport Loop is a pretty killer looking combo, yeah?

Looks light grey, not "midnight blue"?

I really need to see one of these IRL, I get the impression they don't photograph well.

Yeah they really don’t. It does have a light gray appearance, especially when you first take a look at the thing. In all honesty, I was dead set on returning the thing because of it. Waited a day and did a complete 180. The color is definitely there and it has a rather cool look to it. I’ve come to love the band and I’m keeping it.

I had one and returned. All I could see were the pale white loops.

In person, the black and the light colors look ok. The pale loops just stand out more on the blue. For some reason, the green isn't as bad, but isn't my favorite.

I should have to go through a major city with an apple store this weekend. I aim to drop in and I am crossing my fingers that I'll stumble across a sport loop. They look so nice.
Order on Apple.com for an in store pick up. I was looking to do the same thing this weekend and I see plenty of inventory.

I am considering that, but I'm not 100% sure I will make the stop (it's Richmond, VA... a city of which I am not particularly fond).

Cool! Where’d you get the wrap?

I just used a flat sheet of vinyl wrap I purchased from a company called vvivid vinyl. They sell these $5 sample rolls that are quite large when it comes to gadgets (their products are meant for cars). Since I found out, I have just stocked up on different kinds and color combos. You can see in some of those pics I posted a MacBook Pro that I wrapped with a metallic copper.

I’ll do it every now and then to change things up and when I’m done, I’ll just rip the skin off.

I am in love with the black sport loop! I bought the gold S3 with pink sand and it SO soft and comfortable that I ordered two more - dark olive and seashell (which I thought would be more white). I stopped to pick them up today and was disappointed that I hated both colors. They looked more like gray and darker gray to me. I couldn’t see any green in the olive band other than the connector and the seashell didn’t look white at all. I asked if they had any black in stock (the website said October) and luckily they did because that is my favorite band ever! It looks amazing with the gold watch! So, I returned the “gray” and “grayer” and came home with the beautiful black and a white sport band instead.

It’s a little embarrassing to be spending $49 on a piece of cloth, but I do love them!

Very cool, From looking at your picture I couldn’t tell the difference between the ceramic and your watch. You did a really good job applying the vinyl. I like the idea of changing things up too...

I have to say that I feel like the olive sport loop band is a blatant mischaracterization on the part of Apple. It is really more of a an attempt to look space grayish. In dark lighting it is darker but the only thing olive on the band seems to be the fringe and even that is hard to see.

I purchased the black band at the store yesterday and like it much better.

Got my sport loop today. I have small wrists.

The velcro is on the maximum setting and it still feels slightly loose, which is also throwing off the HR sensor now. :(

Strange supply shenanigans at my NL Apple Store... After being resigned to waiting several more weeks for woven sport loops, now suddenly black + electric pink (and only those two) available for immediate shipment. Ordered right-away and I'm looking forward to delivery the day after tomorrow. It pays to keep on checking...

Anyone know if the Nike Black Sports Loops will be sold separately? I have the regular black sports loop and it's probably the most comfortable band I have ever worn but don't care for the colors emeshed with the black. Kinds reminds me of a carpet pad.

Checked out the Sport Loop last week and really liked it. Been trying to track down a Flash Sport and drove over to the only  store with one in stock. Glitch in their inventory, didn’t actually have one, aside from the display band.

Had an order on Apple.com for a 42mm Dark Olive Sport Loop with expected shipping for October 18 at the earliest.

Checked in-store pickup today and saw the band was in stock at my local Apple Store (in NYC). Cancelled my online order and was able to pick it up today :)

Just posting as a reminder to others to make sure to check in-store stock if your Sport Loop in backordered. You may get lucky!

Stores by me all have them as well(according to the app) so I’ll probably do the same tomorrow. I called the store by me today and the girl I spoke to had NO idea what was going on-she told me that they had just run out even though the web site still showed the band was in stock. Anyone with experience, is the website stock status always accurate? Thanks-
