$69 on their dumbphones. Which don't display web pages as they should be viewed and phones that encourage the user not to use the services provided except MMS or SMS.

So, it's not a very good deal if you think about it. BTW, iPhone users will get charged differently if the iPhone does go to Sprint.

The Palm Pre and HTC Hero are right on the heels of the iphone.

EVERYTHINGS INCLUDED. After discount you can pay $51.00 + Tax. This includes Nights at 7pm, all you can eat data, MMS, TXT and free calls to mobile numbers.

So your paying $30 for data and $20 for unlimited txt.. them minutes? Outrageous!

I LOVE THE IPHONE. AT&T.. They can burn in hell.

At&t is absolute, f*cking trash

Point blank, At&t is absolute trash. I travel all over the country and every where I go the signal was complete garbage. Yeah, maybe in some podunk counties some of you live, there might be a good signal, but everywhere else, forget it. I don't know how some of you guys put up with At&t's atrocious service. Jailbroke mine and living lovely on T-Mobile.

Sprint is the best bang for your buck by the ways

Guess you've never been to Phoenix... oh that's right... Maricopa county is some podunk county. After all, we only have a little over 4 million people living here.

Sprint sucks here... you spend most of your time roaming on Verizon's towers.
T-Mobile isn't much better.

btw... how are you liking your 3G speeds on T-Mobile anyway? Oh that's right... they don't support 3G for the iPhone.

All fun aside, you can bash any carrier you want... they all have issues.

Sprint is in the final throws of a failing company, desperate to attract customers.
Their 4G path is terrible (Wi-Max is garbage) and their basic cell coverage depends too much on leasing space on Verizon's network, not their own.

Sprint might be good for those who never plan on leaving North America. But since I travel - Sprint - no matter how attractive isn't going to work.

I had sprint. I didn't have any major problems with them that couldn't be solved with a phone call or two. Same when I switched to ATT. Coverage has been equiv if not better on AT&T. And I'm in NYC - which I believe isn't podunk either.

Personally I would never switch to t-mobile even though that's really the only other option if you travel to other countries because I have had several friends around the country tell me how bad their reception has been. Granted they all left t-mobile at least over a year ago so maybe things are different on their network.

Regardless - you can bitch and complain about any of the networks and any business - restaurants, movie theaters, airlines, etc.

And people have different experiences. Just because YOU hate AT&T and their "attrocious" service doesn't mean that's what everyone else is experiences.

p.s. These message boards are only a SMALL SMALL fraction of the amount of people with iPhones and AT&T. So you can't argue that there are so many complaints on here about either/or.

I thought only Verizon worked in the Metro. Besides, all the carriers will eventually work in the Metro, according to a thread we had awhile back. As far as dropped calls go, I've not had that issue.

Haha, not everyone lives in DC. ;) Also, as mentioned before, Sprint and Verizon are both CDMA and so Sprint roams on the metro just fine.

AT&T is supposed to start getting service in the metros pretty soon actually (just select stations though).

As far as the plan goes... With the new "chinless" Hero coming to Sprint soon with the updated Sense-UI (read: no lag), I can't wait for my 2 years to be up on my 3G! By then I almost guarantee HTC will have a Hero2. :p They pump out phones every few months!

If you're talking about os vs os than yes Web Os and Android with sense ui is better than the iPhone. The iPhone is just a bunch of icons on the home screen and a glorified app launcher.
