Looking for a 1 TB drive for a Mid 2015 Macbook Pro which is the better, faster part? MZ-KPV1T00/ 0A4 or 0A8?

I'm confused by all the different models SSD's.
My MacBook retina 13" (mid 2014) will boot from a USB stick but the SSD (128) is no longer recognized.
Not looking for larger memory necessarily, but just want decent reliability.
I see very few 128 Gb's offered.
Any brand recommendations?
Does it pay off to replace the card interface holder (that seems really cheap) first?
Thanks in advance for input...

So I just purchased a Crucial MX300 525 GB on Amazon...

If I put it in an enclosure, run time machine on it, then install into macbook and recover time machine will I essentially lose 25 gb of storage since my original drive was 500GB?

No you won't. It will only use up however much space is required for your data.
