How do you get the rating pop-up to show?

Also, I wish it was a little bit more elegant than that. It would be wicked cool if the album cover turned around or darkened to show the star rating.

It's better than nothing, but they sure don't make it too easy to get to. I miss just taping the album cover to see it. Sometimes I just like to refer to what rating I've given to a song while I'm listening to it.

Wow, so glad to have this feature back! I count this as a win for consumers making their voices heard. Thanks so much to everyone that took the time to comment and submit feedback to Apple.

That said, I am mildly disappointed the "tap album cover" method was not used. The menu location for ratings is more difficult to access and not as user friendly.

But enough complaining from me. Star ratings are back. Hell yeah!

Just one reason I jump back iOS beta ship again. But I don't know how long this would last.

Very weird behaviour.

I thought we were in the "Post-PC" era?

Not quite yet.
This is industry's responsibility to bring everyone into that era, not ours.
And "always prepare for plan b" means we can never abandon PC in our daily life completely.

When talking the "Post-PC" era, I wonder why Apple never called it the "Post-Mac" era...

Because the Mac falls under the personal computer classification. A personal computer can be a Windows desktop, Mac laptop, and run Ubuntu, Fedora, or whatever, so the term covers all the definitions to what a PC would be to anyone.

And most people still have never owned a Mac.
