I'm hoping for L4D 2, but then again my current MB Pro is playing HL2 Episode 2 like totally crap!! It S T U T T E R S like nothing with lots of action. Tried all the tricks too... grrrr.

Oh I have a C2D 2.53, 9600GT with 512mb ram. 4GB DDR. My new machine can't be soon enough....

I'm hoping for L4D1, but a) when they release they will probably release L4D2 first (unless they decide to release simultaneously) and b) it will probably be neither L4D1 nor L4D2.

TF2 says "Mac version coming soon" next to it on Steam, so my money is on that. Though you can never be too sure with Valve. I've been a Steam user for years now an you never truly know what they're up to

I would be ecstatic if Valve released TF2 tomorrow, but I highly doubt it. Call me pessimistic, but this is Valve we are talking about.

I'm actually not expecting any Valve games to be released tomorrow. Remember, we got Portal week 1, and a bunch of third-party games week 2. Then we got HL2 and expansions week 3. I wouldn't be surprised if we see CS:S or TF2 next week. I hope I'm wrong though.

why, the doom games have had a native mac version for ages, I had Doom 3 for my emac (g4 1ghz) it plated like crap so i built a windows box to play it at the time

I think it'll be TF2 this week..

Maybe there'll be a zombie week at some point later.. Popcap's games have been appearing on Steam-mac with the notable exception of Plants Vs Zombies - it's not as if there isn't a Mac version already so there might be something going on there.. I think L4D1 and 2 will probably launch simultaneously.

Looking forward to TF2 anyway, though who knows!

Last night I tried HL2 out on my Mac so I copied over the Source content files from my PC partition. For that reason when I started up Steam it tried downloading the rest of HL2 Deathmatch. For a brief second I got hella excited . I thought they might have given us HL2 DM with the HL2 release.

T minus 8 hours.
