So if we download The Orange Box, we'll get Team Fortress 2 automatically when it releases? If so, I'm totally going to download the Orange Box. I was expecting to pay $20 for Team Fortress 2 alone, so I'll be thrilled if I'll be able to spend $22 and get the Half-Life 2 series with it.

yeah, it's great news for mac users. love it. but I wonder when half life 3 or episode 3 will be available? they said it would be 2010. but it won't happen this year. once they spill the bean, episode 3 or half life 3 should be soon.
They haven't made any announcements for Episode 3 for a long time. Knowing Valve it's probably almost done or will be bundled with Portal 2.
Half Life 3 is probably a very, very long way off. Although I'm sure one of the Valve guys said the Episodes combined would be a sequel to Half Life 2.
I read that too, they even said that the episodes should have been called Half Life 3: Episode 1, 2 and 3 to correctly portray them as together being the sequel to Half Life 2.
