To the TMZ-haters, you'll just have to get over it. The FIRST photo of Steve Jobs since his surgery is simply news relevant to this site, and TMZ happened to have it. It would be inappropriate for MacRumors to reject sources based on some sort of irrelevant ethical posturing. This photo could have been taken by Michael Vick using puppy bones as a tripod, and MacRumors would still kind of have to post it. Just gotta deal with it, folks.

Steve still looks the same, pretty thin. Not better, not worse than before -- but being well enough to be at work is a good sign methinks. He's recovering, so he was never likely to look like a million bucks (yet), but I was holding out hope that he would have gained more weight since the last time we saw him. Perhaps he hasn't had enough time yet.

Thinking positive! Want to have Steve with us as long as possible! Good health to you, sir!

Is Jonny Ive morphing into the yang to Jobs's yin? Jobs is tall, wears black and thin, Ive is short, wears white and is erm, husky.

As someone stated, ripped is more like it. I have the same build as Johnny, lots of hours in the gym, definitely ripped. Short and muscular does not mean husky lol. :p

On another note, people forget that the mortality rate on pancreatic cancer is very high, adding liver cancer/liver transplant into that equation and, well, you get the idea. Steve has a long road but he's very fortunate that he has that road. :)

I think this is getting out of hand. Let the man be. This paparazzi thing is just an invasion of his privacy.

I have been wondering how he has been but I must admit he looks one meal missed away from death. I am a huge Apple fan and really appreciate what Jobs has done for the Mac world and all Apple products. Yet, looking at this photo convinces me he is a long way to a full recovery and makes me wonder if there is continued health issues that will eventually overcome him. He does not look good even with what he has been through. He looks very very sick!!

Wow. Give this guy a break. A less ignorant way to form an opinion on how well he is recovering is the fact that he is up and about and has the strength to actually go to work everyday. If he wasn't recovering well, he wouldn't have the strength to be back at work. He's got the best medical care money can buy, and they wouldn't have allowed him to start working again if he wasn't well enough. It took him almost a year to lose that weight, its not going to come back overnight. Jesus.

I agree ^^^^^^
I hate TMZ as much as the next hater. It was probably sold to them from some iphone user :)
Looks like the picture was taken from a car while he was crossing the street.

Yes, Abbey Road tribute

When I first saw this photo, I immediately saw the resemblance to the Beatles Abbey Road cover too. This can mean only one thing... the Beatles on iTunes and the new Beatles iPod or iPhone will be announced soon. Yes! Finally!

Is that Jonathan Ive in white?

[edit]yes.... :)[/edit]

Funny, I went to have a look at the apple campus about a year ago. Too bad it was on a sunday so the campus store was closed. I also dropped by at the Google Plex and Steve's house ;) Big, but not that huge at all. And fairly accessible as well. Seems like he was home, nice (plateless) Mercedes though :)

No matter what his diet is, he can still gain muscle weight. Since he can afford it, he can hire a personal trainer and nutrionist to maximize the benefits from the calories he eats.
BTW, Jobs eats fish. Last time I checked, fish don't grow on trees. So, please don't go calling him a vegetarian. It's insulting to vegetarians such as myself.

How is that insulting? I have heard him called a vegetarian (I didn't know he ate fish, so I suppose it isn't accurate) but what people eat really shouldn't be insulting to you.

New photo of Steve Jobs going to work!

Steve Jobs' Closet

I actually have an exclusive picture here folks of Steve Jobs' closet with his clothes set out for the next couple of days.

When I saw the title I was kinda hoping to see him walking out of Apple stuffing his face with a veggie meal from McDonalds.

Good to see him back though.
