In a coffee shop.
Is it me, or does it look like he's wearing a dress?

If these pictures are the real deal, I too hope he can find his way back to health.

It may well be some sort of hospital smock; viewing the photograph, it seems to me that he looks as though he is being guided, or helped, along, and may not be too steady on his feet.

Agree with all who have posted; very sad and tragically graphic, if true.

I sincerely hope he can recover, - the man is an absolute genius and has given so much to the world in terms of accomplishment, design, achievement and sheer pleasure - but, unfortunately, pancreatic cancer does not have a good prognosis.

Sure they can.

Well, of course they (like anyone) can be fooled, but I don't think easily.

This isn't some fly-by-night site that just posts anything they get or find. They do their due diligence to make sure that what they are reporting is true and real.

That being said, I hope this is one of those times where they were fooled.

And why two threads?

Because people don't know how to search.

I think it's absolutely disgusting of TMZ to post these photos. Leave the poor guy alone, the last thing he needs is to be harassed by some hack paparazzo. We've all known that he is ill, we don't need further proof of his illness. He deserves to be left alone to be with his family and friends during a time like this.

Also if these are real, why is he wearing a dress? It doesn't look like any hospital smock that I've ever seen.

If they didn't buy the pic and post it, some other site would have. Either way, the photo would have got out.

Re: the black gown: it could be something he decided to wear instead of a hospital gown. They aren't the most comfortable things in the world to wear.

I don't know if that picture is real. If it is real, I'm not so sure he's in as bad of a condition as most people think he is. If he were to comb his hair and put on a pair of blue jeans with some New Balance sneakers, he might look like he did at WWDC 2011. I think the black shorts with black shirt might be psychologically messing with peoples heads, as it sort of looks like a dress, and it might remind them of a hospital gown.

That shot is photochopped. Check out the 'skirt' edge by the leg - you can see the inconsistency.

^^^If you zoom in you can see it's just folded. But I'd prefer it if you are right.

Cancer can do this to someone folks and with what he had/has it's certainly possible.

Absolutely (unfortunately).

Watching how quickly it caused people like Jack Layton (Canadian politician) and Pat Burns (NHL coach) to deteriorate was very shocking.

I'm not going to say whether or not I think this is Steve, but I will say that this is entirely possible for him to look this way. My mother fought with, and eventually passed away from, a difficult form of ovarian cancer. Her last months, she quickly degraded and had a very similar, extremely frail appearance. Cancer, and the multitude of drugs and chemo often taken to try and fight it, will wreak havoc on the human body.

And if these ARE actual, recent pics, the "dress" is probably just for comfort. When people get this frail and weak, simple tasks such as cleaning themselves and using the restroom are quite difficult. These types of garments help make those tasks easier, as well as negate the struggle of trying to put on normal pants or sweatpants or whatever.

Because people don't know how to search.

The other thread was posted at 3:02 pm CDT, this one at 3:05 pm. When I started posting it was prior to 3:02 p.m., thus none showed up when I searched.

The photos do look weird to say the least. Since this is under the "Community Discussion" forum, they were merely placed here for people to discuss.

I'd hope Arn and the other powers that be will respect Steve's privacy enough to not post these and display them to a wider audience.

-Don

I agree. I thought the Community Discussion area was appropriate because people could choose to look or not and whether to discuss or not.

Can he even stand anymore? Seeing the guy beside him looks like he's helping Steve stand up.

Either way I don't think he will be here much longer.. pretty sad to see when you can have all the money in the world but it can't get rid of this damn disease

nice find, but apart of me says thats not him? i might be completely wrong

I don't know if it's real. It seems like it could be fake.

Photoshop'd!!!!!!!!

Sites like TMZ and Perez Hilton ... are ****d up

I do not believe it is a picture of Steve Jobs ... probably some junkie hanging out front of TMZ

There’s really no proof that’s Steve.

Denial is a remarkable phenomenon. Sometimes reality is just too painful.
