^^^^FWIW, I think your thread is in a more appropriate forum section.:)

The Toronto Sun is a great newspaper with the best Sports Section in all of North America.

Yeah, okay then.

TMZ and Perez Hilton are National Enquirer wannabes

TMZ and Perez Hilton report on celebrity gossip. They have sources who sell them stories/photos. Most of the time, it's actually the celebrities themselves (or their agents) that give the stories to TMZ and PH.

The National Enquirer makes up stories about alien abductions and babies with seven heads. You can't compare the two. Sorry.

Watching how quickly it caused people like Jack Layton (Canadian politician) and Pat Burns (NHL coach) to deteriorate was very shocking.
Watching prostate cancer eat my grandfather alive was indeed. I'm not one to use strong language generally but in this case, as someone said in another thread, f@&k cancer.

These images should be removed asap from this site. This is just a tasteless invasion of Steve's privacy. I hope that Macrumors deletes these threads...

You may be a fan of celebrity gossip ... I am not ... FYI, the NE is the pioneer of celebrity gossip ... TMZ is just following along.

Anyone else feeling torn on morality? On the one hand I feel everyone should respect his privacy and regard his health as a private matter. On the other hand, Jobs is one of the greatest visionaries in computer industry ever and if his health is troublesome, I'm curious to know how he's doing. It's not just some (ex) CEO. It's Steve Jobs.

Actually, I'm not a fan of celebrity gossip. I hate it. I just know stuff about how the industry works.

And yes, I'm aware of what the NE used to be.

Right and the pic of Casey Anthony graduating is real too.

You obviously dont understand when they're being humerous and being serious. If you were a regular read of their site you'd notice these things, which I am guessing you dont read it on a daily, you wouldn't then understand :) (and read the article that comes with that photo, you'll see the humor as she's said to be taking online classes, the make fun of her "schooling" online) Usually you're a good dude aggie, don't be that much of a hater. Despite being TMZ, they have a track record of being right, a lot.

Wow, can't believe this is the same guy we just watched a few months ago on WWDC. He didn't look his best, but nothing close to this. Poor Steve....hope this isn't real.....

I don't know if it's real. It seems like it could be fake.

Why would TMZ post a fake pic of Steve Jobs?? It's not like they wouldn't get 1,000x more hits if it was of Robert Pattinson or Brad Pitt.

Who has the limited mental capacity needed to read those sites regularly?

Millions of people. I know lawyers, doctors, PhDs, engineers, accountants, etc. who read it on a daily basis.

My wife (a lawyer) and mother (a former teacher) read it on a daily basis.

Don't be so insulting.

A hater? Seriously?

I can proudly say I’ve never read TMZ or Perez Hilton.

what does that suppose to mean? That everybody should just republish these photos? What kind of people are we? Don't we have any respect?

It means real or fake, they're out there. Removing them from this site isn't going to change that.

Same can be said about this site, is any website reallly a "neccessary" read? Not really. You do so to pass time, kill time, get a quick laugh, catch up on something without much meaning to break away from all the other news you've been reading on.

I'm glad you're proud of that?!?!? Just saying you gave some lame example of some casey anthony, when it's not in the same realm is all.

Dont get all bothered. I just responded back, you could just ignore me. :)
