Massive orgasms detected... That's funny that Apple is translating and even mentioning things that are not working in Poland : News App, Things Near, Siri (still not speaking Polish), keyboard prediction and so on...

I highly recommend to update it via iTunes by cable. So many things can be bad if you OTA 1GB file by WiFi (iPhone SE). If something will be bad with this update you can easily come back to 9.3.5 as it was backed up in iTunes

5 minute download.... 15 minutes to install and update the iPhone.

After updating the phone, and while the phone was restarting, iTunes notified me that a new iOS 10.0.1 was available for my phone. LOL... I'm like yeah, you just got done installing it on my phone, what do you mean do I want to install it now or later. :p Hit, later and let the phone finish rebooting.

Updated to iOS 10.0.1 now...

iPhone 5 w/ 16 GB... iOS 10.0.1 (Build 14A403)

Had to turn off BlueTooth again, but otherwise smooth and no problems. There was a long pause about 75% of the way through the reboot that had me nervous. Lasted about 5 minutes... then suddenly finished on the progress bar and smooth from there.

No swipe to unlock... confused me for a few minutes as other things came on the screen when I swiped. Then eventually saw the press home to unlock... LOL

It's different... But, it's running smooth.

Oh man...I'm downloading at work - you guys are freaking me out. Has anyone successfully upgraded OTA on wifi (without iTunes)?

Judging by the comments here and on the Reddit thread, this update is bricking everyone's devices. I'd stay away from updating until things are sorted out..

That's a good idea. I'm completely bricked waiting for iTunes to update and then will try putting into DFU mode.

Based on reports from another thread and what I see here, any A9 device seems to be impacted. If you have a 6 prior it sounds like you're OK. For those will success, post up what model idevice you updated.

I always use iTunes. And always make sure my phone is 100% charged first. That always gives me the best results with no install or battery issues.

I've done it at partial charges before and suffered decreased battery life until the next update.

And I've done over the air with problems before.

But going through iTunes with the phone 100% charged has always been the most reliable for me.

Through iTunes you get a complete install. Over the air is more like installing a smaller patch (at least sometimes it's a smaller patch).

iOS 10.0.1 installed fine for me.
