Kindle iPhone X support has arrived! Woo.

I don't have an update here yet. version History in App Store says 7 hours ago it was updated, but my iPhone doesn't show an update button yet. It doesn't look any different for me right now, and looking at App Store "recent updates" list shows I last updated Kindle app 3 days ago, so I should still be on 6.2.1 not the 6.3 that came out 7 hours ago.

How do I force it to update when all I have is an "open" button, not "update"?

EDIT - after pulling down on the update screen to re-fresh about 20 times, it finally shows the update available.

It’s time for Apple to put pressure on APP developers to update to the iPhone X screen. many APPS don’t take advantage of the full screen

Talking about the APPS that don’t have updates

Most Apps that don't have Apple X updates don't need to take advantage of the specific resolution of the Apple X. It's up to the App developers if they feel they need to upgrade all their code just to support the flagship phone.

Not up to Apple.

Been drinking a wee bit of the Apple Cider?

Sounds a bit like everything looks like a nail sez the hammer.

If Apple want that developers will update their apps, it must drops iPhone X price , so everyone get one.

Even so, why start a thread when you can direct your thoughts towards Apple specifically or the App developers.

For most companies, that means calling the overseas developer and working out another contract deal for an update. Most companies will ride the wagon until the wheels fall off, careens down a cliff, catches on fire and burns to ashes before they do that...

cough, cough, Flash, cough
