Stopped by my local best buy at 9:30 and noticed only 5 people in line. Stopped by again at 12:30 and they had all models still in stock.

Best buy in aurora, Il

Yea, the Best Buy in North Scottsdale had at about 150 in stock total...there were about 30 people in line. I feel like a dumbass for waiting since 7:00 am...could have just gotten there at 10:00 am and would have been the same thing.

Probably should pick a less unequivocal thread title. My Best Buy was out by noon.

I was in and out in 30 min, got there before 9:00 am, plenty of accessories as well. I was afraid i would be stuck till noon. :)

the apple store in pentagon city, va, ran out of 32gb and 64gb around 10am but staffers said more might be on the way.

It all depends where the BB store is. If it is stashed in a lowly populated suburb (as opposed to the densely-populated Pentagon City), of course it's not going to sell out.

i was one person away from the last 64gb and the couple in front of me snagged the last two 32gb so i went with the 16gb. im happy

50 at the Best Buy in Avon, IN. I just walked in at 10:00am and asked for one. They had me out of the door in 10 minutes. Very quiet in there...weird.

Apple/Best Buy did a horrible job letting the public know that iPad's would be available in store. They kept everything way to secretive up until launch. I'm not saying that this is the reason some stores are not sold out but I'm sure a few people that went to an Apple Store to pick one up that did not realize they could just go to Best buy and be in and out a lot quicker.

Apple should also send those unsold iPad's here to Canada. I could take one off their hands.

Haven't found out if the iPad sold out in the Mall in Columbia. What I do know is that they had a lot of reservations (over 40) and a large stock of iPads. I would have to guess that location must've had over 100 iPads to sell. I stayed for the iPad workshop and such, and when I left, they were still selling them.

What about Europe?

If anyone in New Jersey wants an iPad, there are still many left in stock over at the apple store in menlo park. Arrived at 2pm to claim my 32gb reservation. Only 1 person ahead of me at the reservation line. Claimed it in 10 minutes. Decided I'd give this to my parents and get myself a 64gb. Went out of the store and fell in line with the walk in customers. Only 3 ahead of me. Got the 64 in 10 minutes. Still lots of stocks

The lines at the Emeryville, CA Apple Store AT 8:45am were about 100 deep on each side of the Apple Store....

Best buy in aurora, Il

So here you have it folks, Aurora, Il is the defining factor for iPad sales. I guess Apple should be worried.

The best buy in Palisades mall, NY has plenty of them, I just got back from there, and got a 64gb for my wife, I will play with hers, and then make up my mind if I want to get a 3G model for me when it comes out...

The best buy that I went to had 10 of each model. They opened at 10am and sold out by 9:40am.

Yep, there is an iPad app for that, it's called Time Shift, sell out the product before the store even opens.

Edit (Maybe every iPad has a Flux Capacitor lol)
