I have never seen such an issue until now. There are 2 million units out there. You have yet to prove that even a tiny fraction of these units experience the issue. A handful of issues does not make it "widespread" as you're suggesting.

People on this forum brag about how they will take Apple to court, then it never happens. Rinse and repeat. Welcome to MacRumors!

Actually, are you the troll in this situation? Interesting perspective to think about...

Regardless, you will likely never have a chance to speak to the manager. Sorry! :p

Really? It’s all over the internet google it. Sorry I don’t have time for this... it’s ridiculous.

You certainly had the time to make multiple posts with such claims. The way this forum is supposed to work is that one backs up their own claim rather than have others look it up for you.

You already came to the conclusion that not one but two of Apples products are affecting you, seek help.

Edit: “Ridiculous“ is the majority of links that you have now provided but sure best of luck with your lawsuit.

Lawsuit? Oh dear you need help. Who spoke about lawsuit. Before you get all enraged and offended with something you don’t know... I already spoke with the Apple manager and... they are taking the issue seriously. We still don’t know if the problem is from iMac or iPad... it could be I always have the iPad next to my iMac... either ... a person that genuinely has a problem like I do shouldn’t never, ever be trolled this way. I am amazed because I genuinely thought I was among grown-ups and professionals .... I already posted the links from Apple itself from other users like me. I guess you cannot argue with a fool because he is always right. Yes you right I already wasted time answering silly comments like yours. Its absolutely non-sense you are right. Wishing you all the best and keep safe.

The only help you're going to get are from medical professionals. Go to the doctor. Don't use your devices any more until a lawyer, with professionals, can examine your equipment and determine whether or not it is actually faulty or not - then you will have a case for compensation.

Until then, it's hearsay, as it was in 2008.

I'm genuinely sorry if using your products is giving you headaches and making you sick. I spend all day on 3 laptops and use iPhones/iPads (and have for years). If that happened to me it would be debilitating because that's how I make my $. Hope you find a product that works for you. I can't imagine not spending 15 hours of my day in front of a computer.
Yes, thank you. It’s genuine. I am a Graphic Designer and a UX Designer. For me it’s the same I depend on these devices and I have used many but I am having a genuine problem with the Mac Pro... it doesn’t matter they are different devices because some common materials are used in different devices. Anyways Apple management is investigating the problem... I am opening the windows and using them less and it is working and yes, you are right I will go to the GP. I will stop posting now because this has now irritated me a bit. I was genuinely looking for advice and help. Cheers.

It’s genuine.
Thing is…

People create accounts at forums like these all the time to make all kinds of claims, just because they like to get a reaction from making outrageous claims.

Yours is newly created, and the way that you've presented things (that two very different devices from Apple are causing the same very serious problem) has such a very very very low chance of being real that you are definitely going to be called out on it; unless you also come with some really extraordinary evidence.

We're not saying that these problems aren't real to you; but you coming here, reviving an old thread, making very extremely unlikely claims, talking about wanting compensation from Apple etc…

How are we supposed to take that seriously as it was given to us to react to?

The way you present yourself here is certainly more than negative and you’re called out for it. Plus even wasting my time even looking into your sources - first one is a decade old. Next one a different product. Need I go on? Nothing presented here is anywhere close to “all over the internet“.

The internet will let you find those who claim the moon landing didn’t exist, that Elvis is alive and that the earth is flat too. Me throwing some random search results your way wouldn’t necessarily make these true either.

And of course we still don’t know if it’s from iMac or iPad or caused by something else - contrary to your loud entry statement:
“there is definitely toxic fumes coming from my iMac and iPad”

I will jump in here to confirm that the new refurbed iMac we got has an interesting smell that my wife finds very irritating. She suffers migraines and is also more sensitive to chemical smells. The only way to describe this is like a dryer sheet. It specifically originates from the vents in the back (late 2017 iMac). I am not sensitive to smells but I can smell it, so it's for real. It was not purchased from Apple, but from OWC. I wonder whether or not there is a cleaning or anti-oxidation solution they use. In the music biz I use a very smelly spray to clean amp pots etc, what I figure is dry cleaning solution basically. This doesn't smell like that, but it's very odd. Perhaps a deodorized cleaning spray? Or maybe they have a "New Mac Smell" spray, like used car dealers use the "New Car Smell" fragrence spray? Heck, they sell candles with that scent.
*update* after talking to OWC and them confirming no cleaning solutions are used inside, it appears the smell is on the outside. In handling the computer, the smell rubs off on my hands. So, it appears to be whatever they used to clean the outside of the machine. A sanitizer/de-greaser that has an aroma added I guess. Cleaning the outside of the machine is helping to alleviate the smell, but it's damn persistent.
