I ordered 3;03AM. (3 minutes past pre-order time) on the phone. Process was seamless, she auto-ed me into ground shipping I guess. Sucks.

Estimated arrival date is 9/25.

She sure did. All her fault. I don't get why they couldn't ask about shipping. "By the way, what shipping method do you prefer?" Easy.
 
I have some news for Jump on Demand folks:
I was on the phone with different level of TMobile reps and bottom of the line is:

Jump on Demand costumers no longer get "overnight or next day" shipping on their preorders now on.
Nest time when you call for pre-order any phone, I recommend you to not to trust the rep and "always" ask for overnight shipping. You may get the cost of the shipping waived by the same rep (credited to your account) or if not, call the next day and get it waived through another rep.

Because of this, even though I've got a $50 credit regarding this issue, I also cancelled my preorder Apple Watch 4 stainless Steal ($800) (it was back-ordered) and an add on line, and place an order through Apple with better delivery date. I may try Hermes if they ship faster (cost is not important to me).

I did the right thing order my Note 9 through Samsung (I'm using 2 lines) and super happy, I will consider to lease my Apple directly from Apple. You will pay more but you will get good service.

They don't give a **** about existing customers. Especially if you are already on JOD. They are already getting your money either way. As a consumer I have a choice to make.

I signed up for T-Mobile 3 months ago and specifically asked for JOD. They do not even offer it anymore and she said they are phasing it out. Makes sense.

In this case we would have if we ordered online. TMobile had a promo for free 2nd day air shipping for online orders (those are getting delivered tomorrow). The problem is you have to chat with a rep online to do a jump upgrade. You can't do it yourself. It was bad advertising.

You're right thought, we don't automatically get that shipping and it's always best to ask for it. I'm mad at myself for not asking.
