Ordered Xs Max 512 Gold at 12:15am PT, estimated ship date still 9/21-10/2 and the only thing to hit my card is are two validation charges ($1.00 and $1.01 -- T-Mobile and Tmobile.com\CUP)
I usually don't do pre-orders so its almost always next day gratification for me. I don't know if I can survive to 10/2
i only see a 30 dll charge for tmo (current phone payoff) but i see my preorder as being paid on 9/14 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
While this is true, but if your shipping info shows 9/21 expect it then, if its shows later date. Then assume you won't get it on launch day.

Yeah. I remember when I ordered the galaxy 7 edge T-Mobile sent it 3 days early. That was a fluke =\. I’m shopping for a case. Any recommendations ?

I just use the free and pickup at UPS CC around the corner on my way to work at 830 AM. Do they even do delivery windows on iPhone launch days?

That’s why I’m asking what the weight is of the phones. I didn’t order anything else. Only half a pound. Does that seem right?
Has to be it man. I checked the apple thread and they show .50 for the weight as well for some people that have had theirs shipped.

Mine from Apple is 0.5 lbs. For reference, the watch is 0.6 lbs according to my tracking on that.
Not to worry, I'm not mocking anyone considering I WAS one of the people worrying about not getting charged during the 6/7 releases.
It's all in good intentionI'm confident almost everyone here that ordered on pre-order day will be getting their phone on Friday. It's just the way it goes, everyone is concerned but it all turns out fine in the end... except for the 6/6 Plus release, that was a nightmare.

Track by reference number which should normally be your mobile number including area code.
Just FYI, the weight you're seeing is 0.5 kilograms which equates to roughly 1.2/1.1 pounds. Almost every iPhone I've had shipped to me comes in as just over 1 pound.

That's not the iPhone unfortunately. The iPhones weigh roughly 1.1 pounds. Did you order anything else from T-Mo? Because that's likely what it is.

Forest green Apple leather case for my space grey XS Max. My sister is getting the forest green leather case for her space grey XS. Kinda funny, we'll have the exact same phone spec and case color but one will be a little bigger than the other.
Same here, and also always get that one. I need an open bottom on the case, and the Apple leather one holds up great and is very minimal — It does provide some amount of protection as I’ve dropped phones with them and have yet to have any damage. I only started using cases once the cameras started to protrude — the rocking on flat surfaces annoys me.

I like the fact that it gives you a little bit of space between the screen and the front of the case so I can set it face down on the table without worrying about scratching the glass
