Question: if there’s a problem with the card being charged, will they contact you to remedy the matter so you don’t lose your place in line/shipping?

Ordered XS-Max-256 SG at 5:15AM (eastern). Received confirmation around 8:30 for ‘ship between 9/21 and 9/21.’
 
Ugh take my money already Tmobile. Ive run into a little issue. I’m having it sent to my job but forgot to put the suite number. Tmobile cannot edit it without cancelling the order. Since its being sent to a business, I cant use UPS my choice. The last few years I have gotten the tracking number the day before it ships with next day delivery. Not sure if it’ll be too late by then =(

I guess I was overly excited while ordering.

is there a way that you can add a comment for the delivery person?

You should be able to change your UPS delivery to hold at location if you have UPS my choice. Otherwise, just wait for it to be returned to the UPS location and rush to the hub same day. They are usually open late, (8pm ish).
 
Hey everyone, I was on the iPhone 7 preorder thread 2 years ago and back again for the iPhone XS/XS Max! Ordered XS Max SG 256GB on T-Mobile website on 9/14 at 12:05am PST with ship date of 9/21-9/21. Card got charged on Sunday at 9:07am. Checked my T-Mobile app and the IMEI is now displayed on my EIP. Still waiting on UPS info. For those of you who are able to pull it up on UPS tracking, how did you get your tracking number?

They will give you a call and send you a text stating there’s a problem with the card on file and give you 24 hours to call in and update before the order is cancelled. You won’t lose your place in line.

Yes they will, I forget if they email you or call you though, or both, but they will contact you.

Update on the lower down payment options. I was one of the folks who saw the lower priced down payments, but upon checkout, got the regular larger down payment. Since I wanted delivery 9/21 I went ahead and paid the higher amount. I called today to ask for an explanation and was told this was a technical glitch for some customers. When I tried to place another order today, the lower down payment price showed throughout checkout. My options were to cancel the first order and place a new one, but I lose out on the first shipments (XS Max 256 GB) or to just live with it. I chose the latter but got $50 credit for my troubles.

They really pissed me off they gave me $250

Still waiting/hoping, to get charged for the 2 watches I ordered. Phone is in order processed, ready for ups & has been charged.
 
hey guys I just got the tracking from ups to change the delivery to pick up at a store, and when I go to change the delivery, it says estimated delivery Monday instead of Friday? :(

If you change it to a store it might delay the shipment, however if you have UPS hub in your city(customer care center) then it wouldn’t change the delivery since that’s where it gets sorted.
