Carrier T-Mobile iPhone X/8 Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

I just got charged not too long ago. I’m enrolled in JOD.

My partner order his full price on the apple store with tmobile and now it is showing on ups my choice on november 3rd. I know this thread is for ordering on tmobile but just want to let you know that things are starting to get better!

Not to split hairs, but as someone who works in IT who is sick of getting thrown under the bus for every single thing, this ain’t the responsibility of the actual IT department. How this gets conflated with help desks (or even infrastructure and applications is frustrating.)

Anyway, back to regularly scheduled programming. My TMO full-retail 12:35a PDT order for a SG256 was 11/2-3, has stayed that way, and I got charged this morning. My orders via Apple have shipping info via UPS - now waiting for my TMO orders to show shipping info too...

I follow the same pattern every year..

Set my alarm for 2:50am

I usually call at around 2:55am. The reps are eager to make a sale so they’ll usually just stay on the line with me and refresh the system until preorders go live

Had order placed and ready to go at around 3:08am. I was kind of mad this year because instead of $0 down for the 64GB on JOD I had to put $279 ($361 with tax and shipping) but whatever

Got an 11/2-3 ship date!

Always works like a charm! Except I think for 6S Plus year where the operator ordered me a damn 6 Plus and I had to spend hours on the phone cursing them out to NOT lose my place in line over a mistake THEY made...

My credit card got charged last night! No tracking information tho. I ordered the 256 GB iPhone X Space Gray. My pre-order was at 12:30am.
 
For anyone who received partial preorder status it means that the order is still processing and it's in limbo. I tried to force T-Mobile to make the charge attempt again but they said they couldn't deduct the full amount. These charges are temp and should the device not be in stock the charge will disappear after a few days. More than likely full charges will come Wednesday and if they stick the shipments will arrive soon.

Ordered both phones a few mins before 3am EST T-Mobile’s website went up a few mins early and got shipping dates of 11-2/11-3 on both since pre order.
 
My card got charged today too! Order completed at 0323 EST, initial delivery estimate 11/2-11/3! I ordered the silver 256GB model. This is by far the earliest I have been charged. When I ordered my 7+ last year I had my EIP signed at 0303 EST and still didn’t get charged and delivered until 4 weeks later! This is the earliest charge and hopefully earliest delivery !
 
Based on previous years. T Mobile only charges right before it’s about to ship! Looks like we will be getting our iPhones on release date!!! (Most of us) Here in the next day or two I would assume UPS notifications are going to start coming in!

Yep, I agree! Although in previous years my order status on the “my t-mobile” page hasn’t changed until after my phone was actually delivered. I’m hoping the UPS label will be created because I’ll be notified through them!

Ordered about 12:22AM - 256 GB Silver. Order status going back and forth to don't know and 11/2-3 ship date. Got a fraud alert today from my cc 5:50AM. Got a Tmobile text at 8AM. Called TMobile at 8:30AM and got immediate answer and cleared charge. Confirmed with the rep this means preparing for shipping and overnight delivery
 
I made an EIP order for:

64GB SG
64GB Silver

3:15am EST

both were charged today, although when I ordered the first phone (SG) the rep said the system wasn’t allowing him to charge tax? I was charged $299.99 for SG and $361 for silver.

Shipping for both listed as 11/2-11/3
