Im considering ordering one from T mobile, but before I even bother calling to ask, I want to know if any of you compadres have answers.
1) Will buying through T mobile keep the phone locked to T mobile? Or do they sell it unlocked (or unlock it after full payment)?
2) Does T mobile offer an iPhone upgrade program if you decide to do monthly payments to where you can upgrade to the new one next year?

I don't know If anyone knows the answer. But Im currently on Jump on Demand and I'd like to leave JOD. I ended up going to Apple's Upgrade program for the Iphone X. Well I still currently have my Iphone 7+ 128gb that I'd have to pay $252 for my remaining payments. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to do this? Jump to a Cheaper phone? Or Return it? Just trying to find my cheapest way to leave JOD.

From what I understand, you could jump to a cheap phone and then return it during the return period and just pay the $50 restocking fee. Someone will correct me if I’m wrong though.
1. Yes, it is locked to T-Mobile. If you buy it through Apple, you get an unlocked iPhone with a T-Mobile sim in it. You can however unlock it after a 45 day period when you pay the full price of the iPhone. I booked my iPhone through T-Mobile this past Monday because they had the 300$ offer on it, and that is what the T-Mobile rep told me.
2. They do, it is called JoD or Jump On Demand. The minute you have over 50% of your iPhone paid off, you can upgrade to a newer phone. There are a lot of technicalities involved in it, you should really ask T-Mobile.

I ordered an iPhone X SG 64gb with an original ship date of 12/1-12/20, but it was bumped to 12/1-12/8 with order status partiallySAPbackorder, does anyone know what this means?
That means it’s coming! Look out for a UPS tracking number. I had my status change to “partiallySAPbackorder” yesterday and today my space gray 256gb was delivered.

Hey! Good to see you from last year as well. I preordered the 256gb Space Gray on 10/27 and received mine on launch day. So far I’m loving it and have gotten use to the gestures. The only issue I have was I wish the phone was bigger.
No, I did find that strange, I didn’t get charged, I’m hoping that they charge me today.
Nice! Just ordered the 64GB SG on 11/14. Shipping date for 12/13. Felt like the X was going to be too small until I tried it out in the store. Sweet spot. Glad you’re enjoying it

I wanted to tell all of you folks about my experience so far. I ordered a SG iPhone X 256 GB via the T-Mobile store this Monday 11/13 at around 2:30 PM. My original shipping date was 12/06 - 12/20. My card just got charged. My shipping date has since changed to 11/16 - 11/20. So the articles about improved shipping dates are true. I am sure all of you will get your iPhones soon as well. I'll keep you folks posted, I am expecting to see a UPS tracking number soon.
