I called and they told me that it was a result of my card not going through the first time
I love everything about mine except the size. I’m so used to the Plus size, so I’ve been searching Amazon for a bulky case and finally found one. Now I don’t mind the size at all.
Nah, I don't miss the size at all. The X is a perfect fit for me; having said that, the inevitable X Plus (or whatever naming scheme they go with) will have a camera feature or two that makes me "have" to go with that one. Such is the Circle of iPhone Life...
I decided to cancel my order for the SG 64GB and re-ordered the silver. I actually liked the silver better and my estimated ship date is now 11/21-11/28
Unfortunately it took me 4 calls with one rep claiming they placed the new order and did no such thing...can't wait until robots takes over the service industry lol

Same thing happened to me. Now we have to wait. They already gave someone else your order technically and you’re back waiting.
When did you order? I ordered mine in November 4th. When I called they asked to update my card info saying I should get charged within 24-48 hours.
You need to call them and make sure you will be charged correctly. That status means they have a phone for you, but they're holding it untill payment is received.
I ordered on the 11th but my card got declined twice. Not sure why. Just updated on friday and it hasn’t been charged yet. But I see the “Kept on Hold” isn’t there anymore. I now see my order and it says “PartiallySAPBackOrder”. Hopefully it ships by today or tomorrow.

Ordered the Silver 64GB X on Wednesday morning on November 15th, was charged on the 16th in the evening, $378 including taxes and $15 for expedited shipping, was given a shipping range of 11/17 -11/20. It's out for delivery today.
Congrats! I’m not entirely sure why the silver is so much more widely available than the space grey. The silver seems pretty popular to me.

That's the reason I ordered the Silver 64GB, because it had the earliest shipping range, I didn't want to wait until Christmas to get the X, lol. I am surprised to see that some people got their SG early, while some are still waiting, would have preferred the SG myself, but I always put a case on all of my phones, so the color won't really make much of a difference. Have never used more than 40 GB even on the 256GB 8+, that's including apps and media with thousands of pictures and several videos. Guess the file compression is really effective. Just glad that the wait for this phone is finally over!
