I know there are a few threads about this, but I wanted to share my experience. I traded in my old xbox 360 (on the way out anyway) and some games, and I was able to get an ipad 1st gen for a price of $131.99 at my local gamestop this morning. (net cost to me was just the xbox 360 and some games. I actually have $.23 left on the gamestop gift card).
I then took the ipad to Target and proceeded to trade it in at the cell phone station for a $200 target gift card. With my Target card's 5% discount, my total cost was $292.xx for a 16 gig ipad air.
I had purchased two ipad at best buy on launch day, but my fiance decided she would rather have a Macbook Air. So like the great guy that I am (
) I returned both ipad so we could get her a MBA.
Bottom line, I have my iPad Air and she has her Macbook Air.
