Target Watch Band Clearance

I'm sort of surprised, too, since it's a nice alternative if you want a dark, understated band, but don't want black, but Target probably has done enough analysis. It's a shame there aren't some more expensive bands that are in stock, but not selling well.

I wonder if it's because it coordinates with fewer bands? I'd imagine it would be tough to wear space gray or black with the midnight blue, for example, because the colors are so close together. I tend to think that most bands pair fine with most watches (heck, I have a rose gold watch, which some people think is the hardest to pair with, and I have over 50 bands that coordinate well with it), but dark blue and black might be more of a categorical fashion no-no?

I think I read on reddit that someone lucked out and found a milanese loop at Target on sale, but I've only seen that happen to one person!

it annoys me that the nearby target keeps bands behind glass. You cant see them without asking anybody. Dont want to buy any if theyre not marked down.

The midnight blue band is awesome with the space grey watch body. It's one of my favourite bands.

Agreed it makes my watch look darker, somehow even more so than the black band itself.

Went to one target and called another. None of the bands were on clearance. Damn, I wanted a midnight blue.

Looks like I just got lucky. Called and found out one has got some on clearance. Including that white one I've been thinking about. Now it's the same price as the Moko knockoff I grabbed, LOL.

The employee on the phone when you call may not realize two of the colors are on clearance. You're better off going to take a look in person at the targets near you.

I stated I went to the target closest to me and called the next closest one and neither had them on clearance. I don't need it that bad I'll drive 1.5 hours away to get it.

Yeah they had a few left in the glass case and depending which color is on top of the pile you may or may not see a clearance sticker so you have to get an employee to open it and look.

What a ****ing tease! The white one wasn't on clearance. Still did score with the vintage rose though. On my way to one more Target to see if I can score again. Westbrook is playing tonight afterall.

Ended up checking 5 Targets. Physically went to 3. One was the first one that confirmed they had bands on clearance. Second one was one I called but knew the lady who answered was lying. She didn't really check. Got there and they only had Vintage Rose left. Third one had nobody answering the phone and I went because I was going that way anyways. It's interesting because it occurred to me at the last one that there is actually a clearance rack. I remember reading a few people found them in clearance sections while they were behind glass other places.

Might go back to the one near my house and check the rack.

All in all, checked 5 Targets either by calling or going there.

By the way, Manalapan only has Vintage Rose left.

Do take the time to also look for ipad covers, watch case protectors, screen protectors for phones and tablets if you are in the market. Saw someone post they got a iPhone silicone cover for $11+.

One of the stores I stopped in had the black and white bands as well as the vintage rose and midnight blue but not on sale as mentioned. Would have otherwise picked up the black sport if it was on clearance. From everything people have posted, I think just the vintage rose and midnight blue are on clearance.

Well bad news guys. Stopped in to my local today and all of the midnight blue (only color they had and like a dozen of them) are gone from the shelves. I spoke with a sales clerk who said the stores have been "in transition" this week pulling clearance to make room for new items to be put out. Even had her check the bands in the case and anything listed on her hand held inventory device, which said "out of stock" now for them. I looked around the apple product aisles and the covers, a number of which were on the shelf on clearance, were also gone now. My store had an end cap in the back aisle that had 3rd party clearance stuff still, looked but no Apple, so if that's what you want you might still find but the day/s are numbered. Ended up with some cable clips for a few bucks. They did have Spreck and Belkin ipad covers for various models and Otter Box Defender series items on that clearnce end cap (all were half off retail on clearance). Really not much left though.

I now suspect the one location (large store) that Sunday had no bands on clearance had already pulled their clearance, probably becuse they had a larger staff. My smaller store just appeared to have one person working the area. Even the toys that were on clearance are now gone.

I snagged the last midnight blue band at the Target in Rockville, MD. They had 5 or 6 black bands on clearance as well. The clearance sticker said $24.50, but when the clerk scanned the sticker, it came up $14.70.
