So your Best Buy had the blue in store? If so, I know where I'm headed tomorrow.

Yes, I saw it in blue, but it was at Bestbuy Mobile inside the mall. The regular Bestbuy is where I saw purple and the clear w/orange color. That store was completely wiped out of i6/6+ cases. Not a whole lot to choose from left. Good luck ;)

Awesome, thanks for the response!

I only ask because I had one for my 5s, and the power button was very difficult to press. I guess they must've fixed it on this version.

Glad to hear that about the bending. I'm thinking it's a phone-specific defect, from what I've read on these forums.

The volume up button on my sons i5 is harder to press than the one on my i6. Mine is much easier to push. Hope that helps. BestBuy told me they have a 15 day return policy if I find that I don't like it. So, if you want to try it out you can ;)

If there was a black one (without the weird design on the back) that was like the clear checkered ones I'd buy that straight away, not a fan of the current ones though :(

Evo Mesh

I just received the Tech21 Clear Evo Mesh case today. It is less bulky then the Classic Check case. The sides are white, which look really good with my Gold 6 and the back is clear with mesh dots. It is also lighter then the Classic Check. The back cutout for the camera is smaller and looks better. I recommend the Evo Mesh over the Classic Check if you want slightly thinner. Both are great cases though. Apple has them on their site now in different colors ;) http://store.apple.com/us/product/H...sh-case-drop-protective-for-iphone-6?fnode=47

That's the one I just ordered. Very cool looks and reports all agree that is has sufficient grippiness to prevent mishaps.

The whole "bendgate" dilemma: being a TPU case, is it fairly rigid? Does anyone know if it will prevent the phone from bending? Now, I know this whole "bendgate" issue is blown way out of proportion, but there have been a few people who's phones have bent while in cases. Just want to keep my bases covered.

I'm currently using the Pelican Protector, which is very sturdy, but I really want to try this Tech21 case.

I've spent a long time researching this exact question and from what I could find, only cases like the Pelican or Otterbox will add structural rigidity. I think a full wood case would also do it, but the ones I've found are just bare wood with no TPU liner, so you lose shock protection.

I picked up the Tech21 Classic Tactical solid black case today. I love this thing. My ONLY complaint, I wish the camera hole was a bit smaller. Other than that, It's fantastic!

Picked it up at Best Buy.

The Tech21 Classic Tactical for the iPhone 6 Plus is indeed a great case. I had to switch out the first one I bought, however, because the sides were a little bit loose fitting. The replacement case does not seem to have that issue. For those who are concerned with slipperiness, the Tactical cases are considerably less slippery than the regular Tech21 TPU cases (the translucent ones). The regular TPU ones are not bad, it is just that the Tactical finish provides superior grip (and doesn't show fingerprints or anything.) Nice case--got mine from Best Buy.

evo mesh for iPhone 6 plus

been waiting for the evo mesh case for 6 plus... anybody has an idea when this will be out?

I want to see someone do a drop test with one of these cases on the 6+. I had one for part of a day (first day I had it) and it was returned because it was adding too much to the width. I also didn't like that it wasn't hard like a speck case and at time everyone was talking about bendgate.

My thoughts exactly, lovely cases but they just make the 6 Plus a tad too wide for my liking.

There's a YouTube vid of a guy doing a drop test with his iPad Mini encased in a Tech21 case.

…the screen shattered.

You can't go wrong with a Tech21 case. I have one for my 6 Plus and it's by far the best case that I've ever had on any cell phone. The one thing I really love is that the edges are almost flush with the side of the screen so swiping is very easy. Other cases make this very difficult.

I recommend you Google the Tech 21 case drop tests for the iPhone 6/6+. I haven't seen one that has not passed the drop test yet.

Of course the screen would shatter. The screen would shatter in ANY case, UNLESS that case has an integrated screen protector or unless you put a screen protector on. It's kinda stupid to expect a case to protect your screen when you have neither a screen protector or a case with an integrated screen protector. Especially if you drop the phone face down or on rocks or other gritty surfaces.

Please help me

I have Jailbroken my iPhone 5 (ios 8.1.1) and Cydia crashed, now my device does not turn on... PLEASE HELP ME ASAP! ANYONE

Do you have any links? I found a bunch of Tech21 drop tests for the iPhone 5, but not much for the 6/6+. The only actual 6/6+ drop test I found was from a Canadian tester. I've been looking for more. Thanks!

Ok, I'm a Tech21 believer now!

Ever since buying my first iPhone years ago, I'm proud to say that I've never dropped one of these devices. Well my luck sure ran out today. I don't know what the heck was wrong with me but I dropped my 6+ twice and whacked it on the corner of a table all within the course of a few hours!

The phone was wearing a Classic Check case and Tech Armor glass screen protector. I'm relieved to say that both products passed with flying colors. The first drop was face down from about 5 ft. The phone landed with the rubbery thud of a bouncy ball. I was surprised the screen protector didn't make contact with the cement since it sits nearly flush with the lip of my case.

my brother works at apple and told me to get a tech21 case for my iphone 6, basically said almost all the employees use the tech21 cases since they are so good at drop protections. my bro drops his in front of customers to show them.

probably not the best idea but still. anyway, i bought the smokey classic and it fits greats, no button problems and the slightly extra width doesnt bother me

I don't like these two colours, blue one on tech21 site plus shippingis just too expensive, will Apple have evo mesh for plus ever?
