At least we are both 2-0 up at half time.
Yes, was happy with that.

Now, not to concede, or worse, fall asleep, and lose concentration in the second half.
Luton in front and I’d like to see them secure their first win of the season.
Arsenal are now three nil ahead (even Havertz has a goal to his name, his first), so, I am beginning to breathe a little easier.

Hammers are still two nil up, while Manchester United are trailing Crystal Palace, who lead by a gaol to nil.

Not a good day to be supporting either Manchester clubs! 😀

A happy Gunner, here, this wet Saturday evening.

Unsuccessfully attempts to suppress an unseemly grin.

Okay, Manchester United are still floundering, but I am delighted to see someone (anyone) defeat (and take points from) City.

Another game.....not another season.

(Gosh; I remember the Invincibles; I remember that weird sensation of comfort, of ease, that season, - that never quite ran the risk of becoming complacency - for one was secure in the knowledge that the team were not only extraordinarily difficult to defeat, but also played stylish and attractive football.)

Anyway, I'm not so sure we'll manage a season without defeat, - in fact, I'm pretty positive that we won't - but, I will admit that the team seems to be gelling together a lot better than was the case earlier this season.

Was trying to say, now that City have lost i don't see anyone else possibly going unbeaten for the remainder of the season.
Ah, sorry.

Mea culpa.

I had entirely misunderstood.

I had thought you were writing about Arsenal this season......rather than their unbeaten record during the season when they were subsequently known (among fans, at least), as "The Invincibles."

Now, I understand what you meant.

Yes, I agree; our record - from that wonderful season of blessed backlit memory - will (probably) remain unthreatened by the remaining (unbeaten) teams (Spurs?) this season.

The post match interviews and fan cams should be fun. Especially if Liverpool lose.

Also this game reiterates why Allison is the best keeper in the league
