Maybe. Maybe not. We weren’t all that much better last season. Hard to compete with billion pound teams.Perhaps the Hammers were a little over-hasty when seeking the departure of David Moyes.

We will all have to wait to the end of the season to see if getting rid of Moyes was a mistake. Watching fan video's on youtube there was a lot of anger against Moyes and fans wanted him gone. I think it was a mistake but we will have to wait and see.Maybe. Maybe not. We weren’t all that much better last season. Hard to compete with billion pound teams.
I wasn’t one of them tbh. You have to give his replacement time. He can’t do everything he wants after so few games. We will all have to wait to the end of the season to see if getting rid of Moyes was a mistake. Tell that to the fans, all it takes is a few losses and fans want the manager gone. It's already been happening at Man United with an unconvincing win at Fulham then losses to Brighton and Liverpool and that was only 3 games into the season with fans wanting ETH gone.I wasn’t one of them tbh. You have to give his replacement time. He can’t do everything he wants after so few games.
If Moyes was in charge I do not think they would have lost, I think they would have drawn.Counter point; if it was Moyes in charge today, its fair to say the atmosphere would be a lot more toxic.
I know (and neither was I, though I'm not a Hammer).I wasn’t one of them tbh.
Fair enough. You have to give his replacement time. He can’t do everything he wants after so few games.

I'm inclined to agree with you.If Moyes was in charge I do not think they would have lost, I think they would have drawn.
Capitulation happens to every team no matter who the manger is. The test of a good team and manger is limiting how many times it happens.Thing is with a team like Chelsea and there expensive array of talent, they will now and again turn up and put in a good performance. Yes our defending was terrible. But I've seen us capitulate just as easily under Moyes in the past.
Time will tell I guess.
Men’s game has VAR and still has plenty of wrong decisions. We had one yesterday.Draw between Arsenal Women and City women.
Pretty even game. Blackstenius had 2 glorious chances she failed to convert. Wonder what Russo would make of her starting.
Miedema predictably scores on her return. And a ridiculous goal from Park
Kafaji looks a good aquisition
Overall a fair result but women's game needs VAR asap. Arsenal had a goal incorrectly disallowed.
Didin’t watch the game, but Blackstenius is infamous for missing important opportunities. But she have her good days too.Draw between Arsenal Women and City women.

Indeed.Men’s game has VAR and still has plenty of wrong decisions. We had one yesterday.
I think City Men’s team will probably do better.
And for us, unfortunately, Haaland's fellow Norwegian, Martin Odegaard, our captain and midfield general, is out injured.Haaland is in pretty good form at the moment.
Yes that will also be an issue me thinks. Mind you they are missing KDB as well, but are already a goal up through you know who.Indeed.

Last season, we succeeded in stifling and smothering You-Know-Who, but, alas, not today.Yes that will also be an issue me thinks. Mind you they are missing KDB as well, but are already a goal up through you know who.
Well, yes.Its harsh tbf. He was already in motion to clear the ball when the whistle went.
Inconsistent, yes, but Arsenal did have a few decisions go their way.Its also inconsistent cos a City player cleared the ball away after a foul and nothing was given.
Losing your head when the stakes are so high (and you are on six figures a week) has always struck me as the height of petulant self-indulgence.Arsenal now need a miracle to keep their lead.
