How does Apple stop nVidia from coding for Macs?

Apple isn’t going to support an nVidia driver so to ship one nVidia would require users to turn off all boot and kernel protections. That is exactly what Asahi Linux requires and Apple didn’t stop them but actually helped them out a bit.

If nVidia wants to reverse Apple’s Metal frameworks they could probably get a driver working with macOS on Apple silicon but without hardware support for PCIe what’s the point?
