Definitely the Superleggera Pro Dual Layer Case! I never usually write reviews on this stuff, see my review here, but this case is amazing, and it's only $10. It's not that thick, and it's actually two cases, and comes with two very good quality screen protectors. It protects the ports from dirt or water too! The buttons are very responsive even though they are covered over. I really like this case, and in fact, I think I'm going to buy it again from acase when I get the 4G version of the iPhone! I made a little chart to show you guys.

My sister's friend has an OB Defender on her black VZW iPhone. It has proximity sensor issues every now and then, depending on the lighting (or so it seems).

Personally I'm not a fan of the Defender. But I hear good things about the Universal and Commuter. All their products just seem excessively bulky, and the use of silicone doesn't help their case in my book.
 
had my iphone4 for a few months and just been putting it in my pocket, but I'm thinking maybe some sort of protection might be a good idea. don't want anything super bulky... but I'd like to protect the phone from drops and the screen from scratches.

wow there about waaay too many choices though! and so many different kinds. hrm
 
you all know nothing abt g.d. protection.

if protecion is what you want, get. a. dam. otterbox. they have slim cases that protect better than the thickest apple case. if you decide to not care about size, then the defender series is the best protector. its not even to thick. if you really are a stubborn a$$ about size then get the commuter series. it still protects very well, but is much less bulky. the best part, it comes with a lifetime warranty. just call them if it starts wearing or breaking and they send a new one for free, even if you bought it from ebay (thats where i bought mine and their sending a new one for free right now. it lasted me 2.5 years and i only called for a small bend in the plastic case)

get an otterbox, dam1t!!
 
Best Case=iSkin

All my gear is from iSkin..... their stuff is sexy and doesn't get that loose baggy feeling after a while like a lot of other companies have.

Great case!

It's so hard to pick the best case for iPhone because there are so many of them. In my personal opinion:
1. For protection and ease of mind - Otterbox
2. For plastic and rubber - too many to name
3. For Leather, I vote for the Yoobao one

No magnet. The lid just lays flat..you open it with the tab on the right side as shown. It is very strong but sleek and elegant. Adds very little weight or size. It also comes with a rubber band that fits across the lid that can be used to hold money or credit cards. The cover opens 180 degrees...reminds me of a Star Trek Communicator;)
It also comes in black, gold, rainbow and RealTree Camo colors.

I've liked the iLoc Case - great to throw on real quick in the rain.
 
Anyone knows of any "bag on a string"-variants? Preferably combined with a simple credit card slot and in nice leather! :)
