Choosing the best iPhone case depends on your individual needs. There are basically four types of iPhone cases: plastic, leather, rubber and metal. These gadgets are costly that is why it is necessary to take car of them.
If your first priority is the style and quality, I would suggest a leather case. They are mostly durable than the others. The only disadvantage we can state that they are more expensive than the other iPhone cases.

Anybody know where to find a good, protective 'Cheetah' print case for the iPhone 4?

My wife's slider broke, now she's asking for a 'Cheetah Case'.

If you're hooked on the iPhone 4 like we are, you'll want to protect your phone in style. If you like to make a fashion statement with your phone, consider the stylish Duo Shell case. This case will add a touch of sophistication to your phone and is available in a variety of colors; one even glows in the dark.

Anyone looking for a good bumper, I grabbed the sportgrip edge from marware. They are on sale many places for $5 (from$20) comes with front and back protectors. Its a little thicker then the apple bumper but would probably do a better job. Some complain the buttons are a bit stiff but i can still feel them click so i dont have a problem with it. I had to mod the vibrate switch for my verizon model but i think you could probabaly get by without modding. The opening comes right up to the switch. I believe there is a Verizon version... but that might not be on sale.

*sidenote
I am starting to think the new iphone will not sport a redesign, but will more likely be the same slight revision as the verizon model. That might explain why all the AT&T cases are going on sale and the verizons are not.

I have the same crazy feeling as you. And I am lucky because I have chosen my right case and I treated it as my best case for my iPhone

I have no choice. I have a 3 year old monster at home. I can only use the Otterbox even though its looks terrible :D

Lifeproof case would protect it even better and look good while doing it. Even if the monster decides to drop it in the toilet. Someone just put their iphone in a Lifeproof caser through the washing machine yesterday (not on purpose) and the phone is fine. Let Otterbox protect you against that!

With so many wonderful iPhone 4 cases Speck has to offer, each case has a truly unique quality that makes it stand out. Speck Fitted has definitely something wonderful to offer. Ero has a wide array of iPhone 4 cases to choose from. It offers a variety of wonderful designs that come in different colors. Ero actually has its own transparent case, known as Ero, that leaves your iPhone 4 looking as sleek as it should be.

Yes its' exactly the same, and more specifically it's the same as the verizon ip4 version with the mute switch in same spot above the volume buttons.

Thought it was exactly the same myself till we put the Apple bumper on my brother in laws new 4S. Fit nice, but the mute switch has been moved up about a 1/4 inch so it makes it challenging to mute the 4S easily. Still works pretty good but things do not line up perfectly.

There are a ton of cases out there, but I spent forever looking for one that

1) Looked unique
2) Would preserve the resale value of the phone
3) Didn't take everything away from the design of the phone (otterbox)

I feel as though you almost do need a silicon/rubber element to the case if you want to really protect it from drops, but a purely rubber case isn't a very elegant look. I've had them in the past for other phones, but it seems like you do want to show of the phone a little more than that.

I almost got an xShot case or a Gorillamobile case as I would love to just snap it onto a tripod whenever I needed, but I didn't feel like these were enough drop protection. Too bad nobody has made a 2-stage case that integrates a silicon sublayer with a couple of 1/4 20" screw holes. The ones they make for this are just ugly.

I almost got one of the Oakley Hazzard cases, but there were no reviews of them. They seem decent and the material sounds interesting:

(I think if they would have included a screen protector I would have grabbed it right away).

I finally decided on the DIY Case-mate Tough case. While it's not perfect from the youtube videos - it seems like a pretty good balance of protection and uniqueness - since I used the 20% of coupon code and then designed my own case, I felt like maybe it would stand out more than a regular case. It has an inner silicon shell and a harder outer cover that can be customized with your own artwork. Additionally, I think it's important with the 4S, that there's a little larger area for the camera and led flash, as possibly cases designed for the ip4 have smaller areas for this and could cause flash washout?

We'll see! Here's are renders of the designs I considered...
