They do have pretty decent tire reviews. For price, there's also Costco, but it's an hour away for me. We have a local tire shop that I will check with. If their price is anywhere close, I'll probably buy from them, as I like to support the locals, within reason.

In my area, we Just opened a second Costco. I don’t have a membership yet, but my neighbor mentioned their tire selection and prices are Comparable/somewhat cheaper to the ‘Other’ tire shops. I forgot to mention, with Tire Rack, I would opt for store delivery versus home, that way, whatever shop you use, they will keep them for you, whenever you’re ready for the install. But still, Michelin’s are an excellent source for all seasons from my past usage.

Best to lease one rather than buy, and go with a competitor if the price and features are roughly the same. The Koreans have made massive strides, mostly due to sniping specialists from bigger and more qualified marques, but at the end of the day they're still not there.

G70 just won Motor Trend's Car Of The Year and all the reviews have been very positive. The amount of included options and 100K warranty are ridiculous for $51,000. There's nothing close in price from Audi or BMW.

But North American Genesis sales have been very low. Leasing may be a safer way to play it, but I drive way too many miles.

My SHO is equipped with Michelin’s. Outstanding tire.

Not really related to helping you from personal experience, but Tire Rack has posted reviews/prices.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Michelin&tireModel=Pilot+Sport+A/S+Plus+ZP

I found Tire Rack to be one of the better sources for tires for pricing and stock, if you prefer ordering online.
Any mods to your SHO? I have a 2017 that's 100% stock (but with Michelins), and was finally thinking of upgrading starting with a AJPTurbo tune.

The G70 is a stunning car for the money. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if I was in the market segment for a luxury sedan in the foreign segment. (And the 3D simulator you linked is awesome and fluid, it allows you to zoom in on every aspect of the vehicle detail, even the interior.)

The only two modifications I have is a conservative Livernois tune (Which is a highly rated tune for the SHO) and an intake. And, I vented the blow off valve’s to atmosphere to hear the turbo’s more...:D

So, funny story....

My local Ford calls me (Which I have never been solicited before from them), they explained all these rebates/discounts for the F-150 Ecoboost, dealer discounts, ect,...[Basically them trying to sell of remaining stock for the fourth quarter for higher sales]. They asked if I would be willing trade in my SHO, and they would ‘work’ with me to achieve the best trade in offer, and finally the asked if I would be interested in stopping in to take advantage of these ‘Great offers’, and my response was..”Hell no, I love my SHO.”:D

***************************

It’s too bad they discontinued the SHO platform, but they are still a decent buy for the money, loaded and ridiculously fun to drive.

They're all foreign now... Cadillac is killing off the crappy ATS.

While the Genesis G70 sounds very appealing, I'd temporarily stay away from Hyundai/Kia ICE automobiles until Hyundai addresses an issue with some of the GDI engines causing engine fires. The NHTSA may force a recall of every GDI-equipped Hyundai model built since 2011 to correct this problem, a fix that could cost Hyundai several billion US dollars.

I read about that, but it seems to be a tiny percentage considering all the cars they've sold. Hopefully they've figured out this problem by now?

Definitely interested to see what the new Bronco looks like debuting here shortly possibly in January.

Based off the Render, I think this is primarily what we will see, the retro-theme obviously will be the main idea, followed by the Ecoboost drivetrain. Highly reminiscent of the Raptor in similar fashions:

The problem appears to be centered on the 2.0 and 2.4 liter I-4 GDI engines. I haven't heard of the problem affecting the 1.6-liter Gamma GDI engine, though.

Now that the front end of the Supra has leaked, the rear photo recently surfaced, the back looks great, and you can tell Toyota payed attention to design elements from the previous Models.

the older Kia Spectra had a fuel leak near the engine. left un fixed it would be dangerous, don't think there was a recall but the kia forum had a lot of chatter about it.

I figured here would be as best a place as any for some feedback:

I am torn between adding a Civic or Accord to our family. Any big differences between the 2019s to the 2018 models as I'd prefer used.

I like the Civic for: sporty factor, looks, MPG, price to value
I like the Accord for: room, infotainment over the Civic

Any real world feedback from owners of either? I am looking to add an economical car to our family.
Thanks all :)

2019 Civic is the facelift. They made Honda Sensing standard across the line and updated the infotainment system.

2018 and 2019 Accords are the same.

Re: new vs used. Just buy new. You're not saving much by buying a one year old Honda.

I would go with the Accord. You implied you have a family and if that means kids that means they're going to get bigger. Accord has more room.

The Accord can be used, but agreed with AU on the Civic. It's new and cheaper. Go newer.

There's a ton of leftover 18 Accords out there. I'm sure he could get a sweet deal on one of those.
