The "Delivered iPad" and Impressions Thread

Anyone care to post how much of a charge came on their unit out of the box?

I hate being in PDT, still 2-3h until I get mine (In Ontario/Los Angeles and has to make it to San Diego)!
 
My iPad is still in Newark distribution center in NJ. Live about 1 hr from Newark, so hopefully, before lunch :)

as soon as it gets through syncing, i will let you know about my first thoughts. I'm in Albany, Ga btw. so it got here pretty quickly.
 
as far as how much charge it came with in the box, pretty close to 100% if not a full 100%. but it won't matter since you have to set it up in itunes before you can use it.

just noticed that the screen will rotate while it is syncing. screen rotation is almost instant. this accelerometer is blazingly fast so far.
 
If delivered, did your tracking say...

Did your tracking ever say "In Transit to "your destination"? Or were you looking at the tracking and it was still behind?

I'm in Manchester, haven't seen mine yet, looks like my destination scan was about 45 minutes behind yours. Hopefully that means I'll have mine by 11am :)

The fact that I have to wait yet another month for mine to traverse the Atlantic rips my heart into tiny little miserable pieces...

Congrats on your iPads, though, people. I'll leech off of your happiness for now. :)

the reason why apple likes the 9:41 time is people starts to receive their ipad with time of 9:41 onwards :)

No, out for delivery message here. I think that UPS was overwhelmed and not "equipped" to handle such a large job. The tracking information from UPS was definitely lacking. One poster claimed to have gotten a call from UPS telling them what time their iPad would arrive. And this from a company that can't keep tracking information current ;) If their online tracking was accurate UPS could have prevented tons of calls from people with pre order deliveries asking when their iPad would be be delivered :p
