Got one right here! Been lurking for a while, before finally deciding to join in. I have a medium Blue LL and Milanese on order since May 2nd.

Was bumped up to the May 25-June 1 group, but apparently that's only for the LL. Hopefully they ship together. :rolleyes: :D

At least you've got company now!

So who wants to sell a 42mm black sport band? Was hoping to have mine before I leave to go out of the country a week from today but it looks like that's a pipe dream. I'm scheduled for May 26-June 1.

I'm in the June Milanese boat too. Hopefully we get them sooner or the option to pick up at a store. hell im even willing to buy it off of someone and I'll give them my white sports band along with full retail of the Milanese
 
Hm. I've got nothing on my blue leather loop that's slated for 5/26-6/1 but I just got a my choice notification and cannot think of anything else supposed to be shipping to me. Has anyone's band come via sureship? An what is the posted shipping weight of the leather loop?

The weight on my blue leather loop according to UPS is 1lb

Ah damn, this is .5lb and next day air. I have literally no idea what it is, kind of creepy actually. An this is coming from MD, which I don't believe apple has any shipping centers in. Usually my stuff comes from PA.
 
You would think they'd be churning out bands so fast that all the stores would of had plenty of them on launch day...

Only reason I didn't bother ordering a second band until after having tried a few on at the Apple store was because this was my thought. Oh well, looking at a late may ship for a Leather Loop.
 
I received my extra band (a white Sports band) this morning, and have been wearing it since. I'm already thinking it might have been a mistake. It doesn't look as nice as the Milanese that came with my watch, and it isn't as comfortable. What I haven't yet tested, however, is how well it does during vigorous exercise. Does anyone who has tried both for exercise want to comment?

Exact mindset. this is like the iPad camera connection kit. The whole launch so far blows.

Have you exercised with the Milanese? The sport works well when you sweat. Easy to clean after. Not a fan of the band otherwise.

I have and it's not all that great to use. Unless you're doing a very minor workout with little movement, you'll need to tighten the Milanese up pretty tight which is far from comfortable and even then, it slowly starts slipping looser the more you move.

Wow, you're the first person I've heard of that received a White Sports Band. Ordered one two minutes after orders went up and somehow I'm not receiving it until VERY LATE May which is well over a month after I ordered it. What a mess of a launch.
 
The leather loop box is nice. It's almost the size of a sports box! It will be good to keep around to store the band that's not in use.
 
My bands just went to PFS but the delivery dates still show 25/5 - 2/6 and 25/5 - 8/6.
Does this this mean they will ship early?

Generally, the trend has been that they ship within 24hrs of going to PFS. In some rare cases they go back to Processing and sit there until the actual delivery date.
