I have my first leather loop that has an end window of the 12th and my blue loop just has May. I'm still completely stumped as to why these are taking so long. These, along with the sports, seem like a very easy thing to automate.
What faulty bands. As far as I'm aware this has not been a major issue like you're saying. I haven't heard anywhere that certain bands have had faults and others are fine. Besides if one colour of sport band for example had a fault all the colours would have. What is your source of this information.
That's not what he is saying. He is saying that there has been a major fault issue with certain types and colours of bands which to my knowledge has no truth in it.

I ordered a white sport band and a link band and neither have shipped and are still processing. I wonder if the MacRumors staff is going to pick up on this story so we can get some answers. They say available to shop may but what does that even mean?
I was under the impression Apple was struggling to ship watches not bands. It means they will ship sometime in May. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out....
What kind of answers are you looking for? Obviously its taking Apple some time to get up to full speed and manufacture the products to meet demand. It happens every time they release a new product.
I'm not saying Apple is perfect, there has been some strangeness to this launch, but its not difficult to understand that there is a shipping range with every product and sometimes that range is a month or more...Apple USUALLY (not always but more often than not) gets products out to customers on the early to mid side of their promised date range.
I.E - I expect to see movement starting this week on band orders...for those that ordered right after the bands went on sale. And yes, there will be fluctuation on delivery dates depending on which band you order, just like the watches.
But who knows, I could be all wrong and crazy.
i reckon 80% of sports bands will be shipped within the next 72 hours and i think milanese loops etc will ship late this week early next week.
Nothing has happened any weekend because they are taking in shipments from china, and they are preparing them, as we have all seen at the start of last week nothing happened at the weekend and then monday tuesday there was mass movement. Same will happen this week, especially since they have had an extra day to prepare (today, its bank holiday)

Never would I have figured a watch band, no make that EVERY watch band would be experiencing manufacturing delays.
It's a band!!!
I don't think EVERY band is experiencing delays. I think they are just using them all for the watches. That said, I find it odd that they aren't available. The cases for iPhones, for example, are always in huge supply while the iPhone's are harder to come by.
Bitter much?
I ordered an extra 42 Milanese strap at 07 minutes past the hour on launch day and its still processing
