Not to change the topic of this thread, and let's keep this quick to one reply ... about how long did it take to update through iTunes from start to finish? Thank you.
(I want to update, but I need to be able to receive incoming calls today)

If it's just the IPCC carrier file, literally about 1-2 seconds through iTunes plus a reboot of the phone.

I am having the same issue! I cannot sent a mms to my husband's blackberry also on AT&T (family plan), an iPhone user friend tried as well, he just gets an error message... Are blackberries just not supporting the pic message format or something??
Has anyone else had trouble sending pictures to a blackberry??

Well, i have no problem sending to BlackBerry and they have no problem receiving my MMS, i just can't receivng any MMS from someone using a BlackBerry phone. 😡

Whoops, just re-read your post, guess I was looking for someone to have the same problem as me and just assumed ;-)

I think the reason that the blackberries are not working right is because Rimm's stock was down 17% on Friday. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=RIMM You should really encourage your friends to get rid of their blackberries and get iphone3GSs.
