I bought a couple of braided loop banded from the Jansin store on Aliexpress, after lurking on this thread for a while.

They arrive today and seem really good. They are 42/44 mediums, and pretty much exactly the same length as an Apple size 7. (Genuine pride band in the middle of the photo.)

Probably a wee bit narrower and not quite as firm, but not at all bad for about £5 each.
These other multi-color variants are a big draw for me to try a third party option. I assume Apple will produce more, now that they’ve broken the solid colors barrier on the Pride band. I don’t own any solo loops— not yet convinced I like them, personally. Thanks for the share! I hope they hold up as well as the OEM (RE: then being less “firm”).

Hi, sorry if mentioned and answered before but here goes.

Is there a third party Apple Watch braided solo loop (like the pride material and design), but taking queues not from Pride but from international collection for country flag?

I’m looking for a few country flags but in a braided loop: Canada, Jamaica, Cuba, and Puerto Rico.

Hi, has someone try to buy just the connector and then buy the normal 22mm or 24mm strap? I would try this way but I worry about the quality of the connector. Can someone give me suggestion where to buy a good quality connector?
I’ve done this, bought the connectors and then got a Fosil leather strap. I found mine on Amazon, tho I really don’t remember where. But it totally works.

My Bellroy exchange strap arrived today (the first strap showed some locking issues.. Kudoz to the bellroy service!).

I really love the green tone, they chose; it kinda works beautifully with my GS5 ❤️ The buckle is sort of gunmetal colored.
As it is new, it's a little stiff.. It feels robust. But i guess, it will break in and get smoother a little in a while.
It might be important to know, that this strap has two layers.. the outer layer is leather; the inside layer, touching the skin, is some slightly textured polymer (PVC? plastic? dont know ;) ). My impression is, that it can and will take even sweaty situations, without suffering that much. Time will tell!

So far, im pretty delighted =)

@Luis0180 Sorry for the dusty fotos! I sad-hearted gave up, trying to get dust-free pictures... my deepest respect to all those foto artists around here, showing those completely clean and fingerprint-free accurately coloured watch-pics!

The band on the left is from eBay, the other 5 are from ali express. I have a red watch which is why I got all the black bands, and I wanted to just see what you get for the prices.

Jansin braided solo loop is second from the left, urvoi is third from the left. the urvoi is a slightly different material that seems like it wouldn't be as comfortable but is ok, although I prefer the jansin material. not as good connectors on that though, for some reason. they are a bit looser feeling than any other ones I've tried. the one from eBay and Jansin are of a similar material but the eBay one just a tad longer and thus a tad looser, but I may keep trying it.

haven't tried the silicone solo loop strap much at all yet.

the next one surprisingly is one of my favorites and was one of the cheapest. simple, adjustable, comfortable. haven't work it 100% of the time yet so I'm not sure how often/if I'll need to keep adjusting the strap but I don't see that as a problem yet.

the sport loop is definitely made of a slightly thinner/lighter material than an apple OEM one but isn't uncomfortable. would like to find better ones that are cheaper than OEM ones on sale though.

haven't seen what you are looking for unfortunately, although there is a jamaica flag color (black yellow green option) looking one available at some sellers like: https://www.ebay.com/itm/393363184490?var=662239985041&hash=item5b9645db6a:g:BL8AAOSwnJdgzaGM

What's the most comfortable band you've used?

I finally got an Apple Watch for myself in June but the daily charging was a hassle and the thick sport band was so uncomfortable (too sweaty and sticks too much to skin) so I only wore the watch maybe once every two weeks.

I recently got this 4-pack from Amazon as well as a genuine sport loop from the local Apple Store. Both are an improvement over the regular sport band. Alas, I'm not used to wearing anything on my wrist so I remain on the hunt for comfier alternatives.

I just discovered a brand called Epic Watch Bands, thanks to a Facebook ad! I bought the Sugar Plum color, it's true to the coloring online and it's a super compfortable silicone band - plus it comes with a small and large band like Apple sends originally with their silicone band. I have other silicone brands and this one is by far the most comfortable!

Hello all!

I have the blue S6 and looking to get some third party straps to match.
Due to the fact that I have a very small wrist, yes I have tried the size 0 for apple braided strap and it's still loose on me.
For those who got their straps from URVOI, may I ask is the sizing going to be bigger or smaller than the original ones ?
Really like the braided strap but I can't seem to fit

TIA!

I think because the URVOI straps only have small, medium, large, the small starts at size 3 or 4 equivalent to the apple sizes. if you look up the jansin store they give a measurements for their 3 sizes and comparable apple sizes as well

Anyone got Shell Cordovan straps (Horween) and if so, where did you get it? I’ve been looking at BandWerk and a few Etsy sellers, not sure where I want to buy it.

Sorry, I posted a new thread on this but then found this existing thread. So a repeat...

Sorry, I just don't feel like paying $100 for an Apple Branded Braided Solo Loop

Looking at third-party options but have no idea the quality of what I am browsing.

Here is what I am looking at currently...

Anyone have any experience with a quality braided solo loop? Please provide link. Thanks

@macphoto861 @rstark18 I think I found one that works for our "in-between" size wrists. I ordered a medium from this seller and it works really well. May be a tiny bit on the lose size, but the watch doesn't move round.

One on left is Urvoi small and one on right is the new one in medium. The medium in this one is certainly smaller than the one posted before.

How is this band holding up? I just bought two of these through Ali Exress. I wear an Apple "6" and went with the small according to the sizing chart.
