I don’t remember exactly in what thread were discussed the watch bands from Wizeband but we ordered from them and they just arrived. They seem to be high quality materials, the connectors are well done and blend perfectly with the watches, and they even sent a 25% off coupon for next order. Together with the BF sales on their website, this is a great discount so we got a few more. Hopefully, the color coating on the metal band similar to the Milanese is not going to chip because the color is gorgeous and I hope I’ll wear it a long time without any chipping.

If anyone has any advice on the sizing of the Urvoi Braided Solo loop I would love to hear it. I have a legit Apple braided loop size 7, my wrist measures around 178mm… so I opted for a size medium. I debated on the small.

I LOVE their other bands so I am hoping this fits. $13 bucks isn‘t $100 but still rather not waste the money! Thanks.
I have one urvoi loop but no legit apple ones so I can't compare, but I do have a few Jansin ones (also available on aliexpress) and like them. the jansin store has a sizing chart that compares to Apple sizes, and according to this post: https://forums.macrumors.com/thread....1866289/page-195?post=30225644#post-30225644 the 42/44 medium is pretty much equal to a 7.

can anyone post a link of who to purchase from on aliexpress for a braided solo loop?

I purchased some from amazon and they were no good, you could see the metal silver clasp where the strap hooks to the watch unlike the official apple strap where the connector is nice and slim so that you do not see the connector at all.

Here is where I got mine and I am very happy with the two I ordered

Urvoi loops seem to be the most high-quality.

I bought 2 from jansin. One of them stretched out to be just a TINY bit too large over time, while the other has not stretched out so much and so still fits great. Both were ordered as the same size. It doesn't look like Jansin has braided solo loops for apple watch in stock anymore/right now though, as the adjustable style is the only one I can find from them. (If I go to my orders and try to navigate to the previous ones I bought from jansin I get a Page Not Found error)

I also have an Urvoi one. It was $14 vs $7 for the jansin ones. The urvoi one has not stretched out too much, but I prefer the material of the Jansin one more. The material of the Urvoi one is a bit tougher/harder I would say, but not necessarily uncomfortable. I just prefer the softer Jansin ones.

I'm going to purchase some from this store and will check in when they arrive, probably 3-6 weeks! https://www.aliexpress.com/store/911663087

UPDATE ON JANSIN LOOP BANDS

One of my solo bands from them ripped. Not a good band and I am going to find out if they have a guarantee on what they sell so I can get a replacement.

Their bands are not good. I would not recommend a purchase.

That sucks. I just received a solo loop from Urvoi and was coming here to report that their quality is horrible. One side, once pulled is just stretching out and is ready to break. The holes that are there for the little push button stretch out completely. Had a similar experience with their braided loops - quality control isn't good.

Also received a solor loop from a store name "trumpu" (Trump University? lol) and that loop is good - cheaper than Urvoi, but can't comment on the longevity.

These bands selling on Ali Express are not dependable.

What would you expect when paying $4-$14 for a band when Apple sells them for (approx.) 10x the price?

I complained to the guy that runs that Jansin store and he accused me of not wearing the band properly. That's the kind of crap you have to put up with when you receive a defective product from these guys.

But again, I should have expected this when bands are sold at that price point.

Update...

The store owner from Jansen watchband continues to be a huge prick about my complaint, blaming me for misusing his product. He is not taking any responsibility whatsoever.

Yeah I don't think there is much of a customer service with these folks. Language translation is another issue. I had an issue with an "olive flak/black" band that someone was selling. It came as a bright green/black. The guy responded "I understand your mood. There are many green bands. Light causes issues. Wish you a happy life" :p

Ha! I must have gotten the same customer service representative.

Went back-and-forth for two days with customer support from the Jansen store on Ali Express. Guy blamed me for breaking his watch band, citing that he has never received a complaint about the $7 bands he sells. Riiiiight.

"OK, I can only suggest to stay away from those places with bulges and backhooks in daily use, which will easily cause watchband damage. The watch band has been signed for too long, and we cannot continue to carry out after-sales service for you. Thank you for your understanding. Wish you a happy life"

Listen, if you go on Ali Express and pay anyone $7 for a watch band you are going to get what you pay for. Think about it. I knew I wasn't going to get my money back, but it gave me some satisfaction going after this guy who continually defended his product and blamed me for the damage done to it.

Yeah, I have mixed feelings on this... products for sale should be suitable for their stated use, but then again when these things are dirt cheap, I guess we need to manage our expectations when issues come up. I personally have had mostly good experiences with the quality of the various bands I've purchased. My Urvoi braided solo loop is, in my opinion, well worth the $15 or so they charge for it, but then again maybe I just got lucky! In any case, I ordered another in a different color, so we'll see how that works out.

Just got my Dark Cherry braided solo loop from Urvoi. Looks and feels pretty terrible compared to OEM, tbh.

Otterbox All Day band... If you have this band (color doesn't matter, of course), what are you impressions?

What do you think which color matches best with a (light) brown leather band (e.g. from Bandwerk)? Midnight or starlight? Any sample pictures maybe?
