Link?

I ordered this one yesterday from Amazon. View attachment 560813

I'd almost guarantee this is a moto360 band with an adaptor attached. Notice the gap in the middle of the link that joins the adaptor

Probably the best match I've seen

I'm not sure how one decides brand, I got so,e adaptors off eBay that look just like this. See my post above for a picture

Not sure what the brand listed cost, mine were $14 shipped I think

I want a band. Something like the space black link

That's exactly what I want. A space
Grey link to match my space Grey sport.

My friend was arguing with me he thinks the SS is classier but I disagree. Fingerprints aren't classy ⌚️⌚️⌚️

*You're*

Now that that's taken care of. No I'm not serious.

But I seriously think that Apple will sell a decent amount of bands regardless of their price range. If you've previously worn high end stainless steel watches like Omega, Breitling, Rolex then a link band at $450 with the awesome functionality that the link band has is not overly pricey. Somehow I don't see Apple changing the "adapter"-connectors for the second generation so it won't be a waste of money.

But for "normal" people who don't normally lash out several hundreds of dollars for bands I can see third party straps being a more attractive alternative.

I would have zero problem putting a $450 band (or more) on a classic, almost art of watches that you are talking about.

I wouldn't even have the problem doing it for Apple Watch Edition. But how many people do you know that put one of the high end Omega, Rolex, etc bands on a Fossil Watch? Or even a $100 Seiko that was bought off Amazon? That is what we are talking about here.

All the Apple Watch bands are overpriced. I'm still kicking myself for buying a LL. There is nothing special about any of them except perhaps the ML and the Link. But IMO, it makes zero sense to put a $450 Apple band (no matter how great of a band it is) on their a $400 watch. And no, it really doesn't make any more sense on a $550 watch. Your example the watches cost $1,000's or even 10's of thousands.

Especially since there are as good of looking link bands by well know band makers in the $100-$150. Not to mention the bands from companies you mention that are fantastic.

While technically any non-Apple band is a 3rd party band, there is a significant difference between the cheap Chinese knockoff's and even Kickstarter band v. The well know, established bands. Heck to be honest, I'd consider paying the $450 link band for my SG sport if it were made by Tag. But never for the Apple.

Now, to be fair, this is just the first wave of bands even by Apple. They very well my come out with more. In fact, I'd argue they have too. Especially for the SG and SS black since they currently offer few choices for them.

Yes, because the TAG Heuer brand is worth so much more than the Apple brand. According to someone with a blog, somewhere, anyway...

The good news is, instead of agonising over whether to chose crap or overpriced you could just buy a US$150 Milanese Loop (which is neither) and be done with it.

What does brand value have to do with this? It's about the product itself.

Don't think the ML would look at all good on my SG Sport anyway.

And I'm not agonizing over anything. I have the Apple Sport band (for gym and running) I have the Blue LL, and my every day band is a Michael Kors (Fossil) silicone band that is very, very comfortable, well made and looks good.

I also have a red leather band, Olive NATO style and several from Click coming. Been looking at a couple Kevlar bands, but my concerns is not finding a quality, well made, good looking band, but the adapters. I don't expect to use the bands from Click, but hoping the adapters work well.

I was simply responding to those questioning putting a 3rd party band on Apple Watch. And while agree it is silly to put a $3.00 crappy band on Apple, there are tons of quality bands that are better than anything Apple makes and less money (in most cases). Least at this point.

You don't want to buy from eBay or won't? There's a difference :D

These are my favorite so far. Sorry, it's eBay ... U.S. Seller if that helps at all.

Just ordered an apple watch today and looking for bands. This one seems to be a cheap but well rated one (from some that I've seen) on Amazon. Anyone have this one yet?

http://www.amazon.com/JETech®-Genuine-Leather-Replacement-Models/dp/B00WX0O3SA/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1434247178&sr=8-4&keywords=apple+watch+bands+38mm
I was just debating on whether or not to order this band or a black Milanese style I found on eBay. Seems to have decent reviews and looks pretty nice.
