I personally backed the Click as it seemed the best. And they cleaned up their design so it really is the winner you can use with any band.

I'm not sure I understand why the click is needed. Just order a classic black buckle since you have to order a band anyway, and then you can put any band on the connector bar. Doesn't it just unscrew?

Well you need a special tool to unscrew.. Oh, and it costs $150... adapters are much much cheaper.

I have the classic buckle and there's no way in the world that I'm going to buy a special teeny-tiny star-eyed screwdriver and sit down and disassemble a $150 watch strap every time I want to switch my watch band.

I will. That sounds pretty easy, and i will always take OEM over aftermarket.

And you dont have to do that everytime. Just swap your third party strap to the connector from the classic buckel, and leave that dedicated as is.

Does anybody actually have a third party band on their watch yet?

Anyone had any experience with any of the adapters that are flying around?

I've pre-ordered a 'Click' so I'm a little reluctant to shell out on one of the newer adapters that have sprung up, though they do look good.

I've been researching about bands a lot lately. More on the classical side of things.

I'm really hoping to get something like the click that fits all 22mm watch straps or see how good those alibaba adapters are.

So far I really want to acquire this two bands:

I'll be after a link bracelet and brown leather strap when(/if) I receive my 'Click' adapter.

This may come in handy for fiddling with straps, noticed it's on offer today.

Yes! I'm fairly excited to get my watch tool kit too.

You can find great link bracelets on that website. I've been reading that Holbens is a fantastic seller of bands.

If the adapters do a good job I'll be inclined to cancel or return my leather loop. I'll rather wear something hand made and more unique than Apple's band.

Link bands are nice. I bought some for my Pebble Steel, but some were a PAIN to adjust. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Apple's link bands are ingenious in that a press of a button releases a link. I think watchmakers want users to bring in their stuff to jewelers to make the adjustments.

Just my observations.

i ordered a 42 SS Link at 3:02 am on the 10th but cancelled and bought a 42 SS BSB from a buddy who ordered two watches. Been using it for 5 days. Review elsewhere in forums.

I'd still like a nice SS link band when not exercising and saw that monowear is selling a nice looking SS band (actually looks nicer than the apple one in pics) for $99. Ships May 8. Anyone seen these in the wild or any others?

I just got this one. It's ok. Not anywhere near as nice as my Apple band, and little harder to slide in and out, but I can get it sweaty when I workout and not care. I just wanted something else to wear on the elliptical, didn't care much about quality and this point. I will probably get something different once some more come out.

Can you upload a picture? Would love to see the fit.

Do you have any pictures of the adapter? Was it difficult to install?
