Do you have any pictures of the adapter? Was it difficult to install?
It came installed, so I just had to take it out of the box. I will see if I can get any pictures to upload.
The buckle on the right side is the new one.

Awesome thanks! How long did shipping take? I have a sport band on a stainless so I need the adapter.
How is the quality of the adapters? Can the band they give you be removed?
I placed the order April 29th. Once shipped it said it would arrive 5/11, so I was a bit surprised to get it today.
Heck, I still don't have the screen protector and stand I ordered on 4/13.

Honestly I have no clue LOL. But I just noticed that there is a teeny weeny screwdriver under the tray it's sitting in. Didn't notice that before now.
The quality is not nearly as nice, its not shiny silver like the one on my Apple band, it's a matte finish mostly. I am hoping it's actually SS, as most of the packaging is in a different language, and it doesn't specify any details.
And looking again, I see the screws at the top of the adapter, so I would assume you can take it apart?
I have the classic buckle and there's no way in the world that I'm going to buy a special teeny-tiny star-eyed screwdriver and sit down and disassemble a $150 watch strap every time I want to switch my watch band.
$150!? Why would I pay $150 if I could get one for $16.99 with a replacement watch band? And two screws?

Used the Amazon adaptor and put on a new strap
If you are getting a nice leather band and want to take it to the next level, definitely look into getting a deployment clasp.
Having owned some nice watches over the years, it's tough finding a good aftermarket deployment clasp (I'm looking at you alibaba). A lot of watch guys out there like RHD deployment clasps, they are really affordable and also very high quality. Bob Davis is also awesome to work with.
Altogether, a really nice Hirsch, Di-Modell or Fluco calf or alligator band AND a deployment clasp will cost you ALOT less than the $150 classic buckle, and you'll literally be wearing some of the best quality leather out there in terms of watch straps. For around $100 you could have a super high quality leather band (think really high end watches like Panerai or Breitling) and a solid deployment clasp.

Some bands I trying to decide between:
http://www.holbensfinewatchbands.com/hirsch-terra-brown/ (little worried about the 5mm at the lug)
http://www.holbensfinewatchbands.com/fluco-horween-shell-cordovan-brown/

Who exactly do I sue when one of these 3rd party connectors comes undone and my watch falls to the ground and shatters?
Has anyone ordered

Seems like it comes with the adapter so you don't need to currently have the classic buckle.
I ordered one of those sport bands before it went "no longer available." Wonder if I ever see it?
