Please do post your reactions once you get it. I have been considering that band. What size watch do you have, 38 or 42mm?

42mm....will do. At time of order there were so few options, $60ish w/adapters seemed like a decent deal. But now, $15 good adapters are relatively common as are those nylon style straps. Will see.

I just ordered a band from Andreas Truong at BlackForestAtelier on Etsy. He was kind enough to create a custom listing for the band I wanted without the watch adapters (have some I just bought and am very pleased with the fit and finish on them). Also, he also allowed me to change the design by eliminating the "+" symbol cutout seen on the keeper band on the website photo. So, my watchband should look like this without the adapters and without the "+" cutout on the keeper.

By the way, Mr. Truong was VERY quick and responsive to my inquiry and I thank him for being so accommodating. So far, for customer service, their business gets an A+ from me. I will follow up with actual pictures of the watch and my review once it arrives.

Would love to see pics when you get it. He has some awesome bands on his website.

Trying to reach with no luck

Hey, lirn8, how did your nato strap work out that you posted about before?

I don't have enough adapters right now to put all my bands on yet, but here's one of my jeans bands that posted about a few pages back that I took out of the packaging. Great material. Love the underside leather, super soft on the wrist. Should take a photo of that for you guys. Sealing on edges is good too. Right now I also have a darker blue one they sent that I might exchange if they have a lighter one in stock than the band color pictured below. These also come in black, green and cream colored jeans material.

OK backside and the other color.

how easy is it to replace your band with a third party band? Do you have to buy additional things?

Most bands come with the adapters. All you do is remove your apple bands and slide the 3rd party bands in. Make sure they click and you hear and feel them click in.
They also sell the adapter for the bands and you can buy more specific bands you may like for your watch. So thays two separate pieces.
Does that make sense?

I am trying to find a polished stainless steel classic panerai style buckle to match my SS watch, you guys know where I can find one? The current one that came with the strap I bought is brushed finished and I don't quite like the look of it. I just want to buy the buckle, not the entire strap.

Not sure what size buckle width you need or what style (ie. screw bar, spring bar), but here's a selection from Panatime. Didn't say where you are but they are in the U.S.

That combo looks awesome. Can you share the details on how you got the band. Would love to grab one.

I just went to the watch shop at a local mall in Bangkok on Sunday, looking for a 24-mm Panerai compatible band. This one was among the ones I liked. It cost me around 25 bucks. I think you can find ones easily on eBay. It's a plain 4-mm thick black cow leather with red stitching.

Ah ok. Wasn't sure if you picked it up online. Good find though, it looks really nice.
