These expansion ones resemble the Link dangerously close, and seems like it may have been something Apple was basing the design off of. The only challenge now will be to find one that is wide enough and tapers at the ends.

I took a gamble on THIS ONE and it was way too small/narrow for the 42mm. It's on the way back for a refund. They don't seem to make them any bigger, either.

I love expansion bands. Used to wear Swatch Watches and had many with these stretch bands. Easy to take off and put on. I am a surgeon, so I am taking my watch off many times a day.

I searched and could only find one that is actually 24 mm wide for my 42mm Space Black, but the band was silver. All the others I could find may have an adjustable connector, but the band itself is typically 20mm or less. Disappointing.

I have also adjusted these in the past, and it is NOT easy. The directions make it look easy, but most of them require you to bend out side pieces that once bent back, never really look like new. Just a heads up for those looking.

Maybe I will go through my Swatches and see what the width of the New Gent bands are.

Already got their black & silver nylon that I love with my silver sport. Dangerously close to buying the navy blue one before the deal ends.

Heh, just pull the trigger...you know you want to. :)

I hope they update their website with the additional bands they're getting in shortly - they said 16 more colours were coming (and eventually people will be able to buy the adapters separately from them as well). I want a nice red band to go with the black watch - may not wait for the Apple sports one if there's a zulu that looks great out first.

Yeah looking forward to more colors/options. It's a great deal even without the 25% off.

You guys suck. I ordered two bands w/adapters. One leather one nylon, both w/space gray adapters and black hardware. $48.xx w/free shipping and not tax.

And I still have a Monowear nylon on the way, 3-4 coming from Click (if they ever come) and looking at a high end leather from Klien. And I'm already rotating 4 bands....ahgggh

Heh. Jeff in sales at Clockworksynergy just e-mailed me to let me know they have all 5 colours for the adapters in now - so hopefully that means they'll be updating the site with those options.

So, that should be aluminum, space grey, SS, space black, gold? (what about rose gold?) there should be 6. Hmm.

Also asked if he had an ETA on the 16 additional colours.

Thanks guys for the heads up on the sale at Clockwork Synergy. I just ordered the: Premium Leather Band Worn Light Brown for Apple Watch. It comes with a Brushed Buckle. I emailed them and they will swap it for a Polished one. The polished will go better with my SS watch.

Freedomoclock09 on eBay (a.k.a. "Utica guy" as they've come to be known on the forums, but it sounds like it is a woman named Lily from messages exchanged with them.)

Many people on here have ordered them, I have a set myself that I just started using this week and I just ordered two more.

Thanks. Are they made from stainless? The listing just says 'silver' from what I can gleam (maybe I'm missing it).

I was also eyeing these (Apple style) lugs:

I'm waiting for a 2-piece red heavy duty ballistic nylon strap w black PVD buckles from hellonatostrap.com's ebay site, under Comeintostyle. Bought their black version previously and am very happy with it. No adapter or pins included but I get both of those with my spring pin adapter. The ends that connect to the watch band have a pretty narrow channel and I mounted mine on a spring pin. Might be too tight a fit for a classic adapter or it might just be the band I received. Very comfortable on, smooth band feel. Love the black rings. $15 free ship. Compatible length on both straps to Apple's classic black leather. Here's a link to both colors:

Thank you so much! I'll go take a look. Btw, the width of my strap is 22mm so I'll be looking for a buckle of that range.

Is the buckle width the same as the case lug width or does it taper at the buckle end? Just thought I should ask before you order.

Yep, those are nice - the black zulu looks the same as the one I ordered from clockworksynergy. I'm going to wait until they have my "bond" zulu strap in (similar to: http://www.clockworksynergy.com/sho...3-ring-pvd-nylon-watch-strap/18mm-heavy-nato/) before ordering any more I think. Hopefully they have a similar red - order them both at the same time....maybe they'll have a "back to school" sale by then. :)

The five they have listed are:

Adapter/Buckle
Black/Black
Rose Gold/Rose Gold
Space Gray/Black
Steel/Brushed
Yellow Gold/Yellow Gold

So when I ordered my Leather Band for my SS. I had them change the buckle to SS instead of the Brushed.

How is everyone storing their straps/bands when not in use?

I got this custom made denim watch roll that holds 6 watches but soon to be a little small as i have another 4-5 bands still to arrive. The Roll even has a little space to store springbar tools and screwdrivers. Far right. :)

I know some of my bands may not be to some peoples taste, buckles may be too large for some, but it's how i like them for now. Thanks.

My wife made this for me out of felt fabric and it feels fabulous. The work done is not professional but hey, its a priceless piece of art hand stitched by my wife so no complaints there lol.

I ordered those and they are tiny. The Casio databank is a little better though.

Yeah it is just baffling that there isn't a wider black one one the market, or even a metal clasp band that has a similar design. I'm sure something will turn up as I keep searching that will satisfy the appearance aspect. So far this is the best expansion I have found, a 22mm silver expansion http://www.esslinger.com/22-mm-silver-tone-stainless-steel-metal-expansion-band/
