The "I just bought/ordered/got/shipped my new/refurb MBA" thread, [Merged]

Ordered the MBA on March 22nd with the delivery scheduled between April 14 - April 21 (Ireland).

Specs:
- i5
- 8GB
- 256GB
- Gold
 
Ordered the stock i3, space grey.Delivery date expected 21-24 April.

Is the perfect interim upgrade from aging MBA 2013. Perfect hand-me-down in a couple of years, once Apple has sorted a MBA 14", mini-led and ARM cpu based upgrade in 2022.

its two weeks from the opening of the apple store near you!
 
My i5 with 16gb ram and 1TB ssd ordered on 3/23 is still “processing,” but they charged my credit card two days ago so I expect it can’t be too much longer until the status changes to preparing to ship.
 
Just ordered MBA space gray with i7, 16gb of ram, 512 ssd. ships April 17-24th. CC was charged when order was placed. I've waited patiently for this upgrade. Currently using 2014 MBA.

Is buying from Apple directly the only way to get a base model with upgrade to i5? I have store cards for places like Amazon, Best Buy, Costco and can get extra rewards/financing; however, I don't see any option to buy models that are different from the 2 stock SKUs.

That was quick! Went from shipping 17-24th to April 7th. Can't wait!
