yes its currently sitting in Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong.
Right next to mine

Update 12/3/20....Still stuck in Chek Lap Kok and still NO delivery date even though Apple says next Tuesday. I am finding Apple hard to believe vs. UPS’s no delivery date after having a reset by UPS.

I can't really afford it but I couldn't resist the few bucks off at Adorama. As a Xmas gift for my teen, I figure this might as well be her - off to college computer... I was going to have to buy it sometime in the next few years. Now just I gotta pay Amex... :((((

its worth getting an applecard, buying it on apple card - for 12 months interest free credit on apple products.

Mine is on the move. Finally released by customs. Looks like delivery by next Tuesday now or might even get by Monday.

Adorama is annoying me... Now they're backordered. I did get free upgraded shipping though to make sure this thing gets here by the 24th. They better deliver..!!!

Three days ago I ordered the 16GB/512GB M1 mini. At the time, Apple's estimated delivery date was December 24, and according to my order status updates, it still is. Strictly speaking I don't "need" it, but if it does what I need, I can sell my mid-2014 MBP Retina for a few hundred and live happily with the new mini for quite awhile.

I don't know how much longer the old MBP will keep going. I'd rather move on from it while I can still sell it for a few hundred bucks than wait till it's only good for parts. Until these new M1 Macs were announced, I was wondering if I could even afford to buy another new Mac that could handle my use of photo processing apps including Lightroom and Photoshop. This is a hobby, after all, not how I earn my living. But man, I was dreading the prospect of going back to Windows because of being priced out by Apple. I don't need pro-level video editing type power in my computers, but more capability than the entry level Intel Macs. I already have a dual monitor desktop setup powered by the MBP so I don't need to buy peripherals. Just the mini. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Follow up to my post above. I have an Apple package in transit from China in my UPS app that is scheduled to arrive by the end of the week. Looks like it’s coming a lot sooner than the ETA date

My 16/512 M1 mini is still at the airport in Hong Kong, per the UPS tracking system. I ordered it 7 days ago and it shipped two days ago. Today I went online and saw that if I would settle for 8GB RAM, I could pick up a 512GB M1 mini at one of our local Apple stores today. However, I'm not in a hot hurry so I'll stick with my original order. And, yeah, I went online to look at the M1 Air, which I also want - and don't need. 🤣

weird, mine hasn't even moved yet. No updates at all...you did order couple of days before me so here's to hoping it updates soon.
sure enough, today it's on the move. It's in Chek Lap Kok, HK.
ETA says 18th per Apple, but per UPS tentative date is 16th. I'd be happy either way to get it next week.
