The "I just ordered / bought / got my new/refurb MBP" thread [Merged]

My 16 order was placed and order confirmation received 4 minutes after the store went live (M3 Max top processor, 4TB, 128 GB RAM). My order still says processing...

Oh dang. My confirmation email came in at 8:35 eastern. We are probably seconds apart for the same config. Space Black as well, I'm assuming?
 
Got the notification for Nov 9th for my 14" 12/18/36

And here I am thinking...should I go with a 14" Max 12/18/36...for an additional $400 its kind of tough as my M1 Pro has done me well for what I use and the games I play....

Good thing is I have a few days to decide...hopefully more reviews will come out to help me decide..

Me too, where are you based? I'm in Australia and I think BTOs are being delayed here for some reason.

I believe some BTOs with 2TB and/or 64gb ram are being prepared to ship. So many posts I can’t find it again.

Hopefully over the next few days we will see some movement and perhaps by Friday/ weekend they’ll be shipping

My 14" MBP M3Pro is coming to Dallas this afternoon. Then will drive out to West Texas overnight.

I'm seriously considering the same....400 more for 4 more P cores and 12 more GPU...seems real tempting, plus I can do my trade in, in store vice mail...

Especially if you’re going to keep it for a few years ill be kicking myself if I didn’t get the best chip, I mean when you’re spending over 3k what’s another 400 when you know it’s what you wanted

my thoughts also. I cancelled my little Max 14" and got the big Max 14"

I decided to pull the trigger and order the better spec. It won’t be here until between Nov 22 and 29”. 😭😭😭

Going to try and snag the little Max for ISP on the 7th, then pick up on the 9th and return the M3Pro one on store and die my trade in there.

Now the question is what time will the ISP be available to select all it says is 11.7…I keep checking…lol

I actually called Apple and asked them what the 11.7 thing means 😆 and they said that maybe it'll be available to pick up in the store tomorrow; but you can't place your order until tomorrow. I asked for more details and they you should be able to order it after midnight tonight (assuming PDT since Apple is based in calif). Take that with a grain of salt though 🤷‍♂️ I've seen in the past where 'local stock' doesn't show up until mid morning.

My current binned M3max is winging it's way to me on this flight from KY: https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS2988. Import scan happened this afternoon too. Normally if it's headed to this region today, then high likelihood that I'll get it tomorrow. UPS still refuses to commit to a delivery date though! I'm kind of sad because I'm going to be returning this one and don't know that it's worth the trouble of opening it and setting it up only to have to wipe it and return it later this week.

I'm really really really hoping that the delivery estimate of Nov 22-29 is super conservative for my new one. 🤞

Thanks! I guess I’ll see what the cards have in store for me…
 
My laptop is in abq already. Apple still says delivery on the 9th, previously Nov 15-17, and UPS has yet to provide a delivery date. However, it's taking the same route my 15 pro took, and once it hit abq it was delivered the next day!

Originally: Arriving Nov 15 - Nov 17.
Yesterday received notification that will be delivered on NOV 09.

Right now the tracking shows it arrived in Los Angeles (final destination)

While UPS could easily deliver it tomorrow I think Apple is holding back delivery for a couple of days. They must have their reasons
