Looks like this configuration of the MAX was ready to go. Mine is on the truck as well - exact same specs
FedEx apparently dropped my refurb M2 14" Pro. Apple staff told me to examine it in-store because the white box was badly dented, meaning the brown box had to have been handled roughly. The laptop was of course dented in that same corner. I returned it, but hesitant about what to do next. I live with OCD and struggle with any cosmetic defects out of the box. Maybe pickup replacement at another store?
Me too. I’m sitting here staring at the box. I might have to make two trips as I don’t think my higher spec’d max will get here within the two week return window.
This morning, I ordered a 16" M3 MBP. I chose a main configuration and received an estimated delivery range. Hours later, I was curious how much (if any) shipping dates slipped. I was surprised to see that they haven't slipped. The same model/configuration is now one week faster. I'm hoping that mine will be moved up as well.
It's an interesting spec to be shipping early. The 2-4TB jump is pretty pricey.
Ironically my 14/30 Max is ready for pickup about 40 minutes further from my normal store and I’ll head to get it Friday! Of course I’m checking my local store to see if they happen to get one in and I’ll snag it.
My roommate just got his in this spec about an hour ago. It's next to me doing data transfer from his 16" i9.
With overhead light it's remarkable how much more glare the Space Gray reflects compared to the Space Black - so functionally better to reduce eye strain. Looking forward to getting mine in.
How do I confirm that? The Apple Store guy yesterday said it was still 2 weeks
Edited to say: I just called Apple and they said the holiday return period is not in effect yet. It’s 14 days from day of receipt.

Mine flipped to ‘preparing to ship’ this morning. Here’s hoping for some quick movement and a Friday delivery
I wonder if we're seeing the side-effects of the poor yields from the 3nm node. However, I've been impressed with how quick the shipping can be so don't lose hope. Also, Apple's QC is often very good, which is why I think mine flipped from Preparing back to Processing. I keep telling myself it's still two weeks away
I'd be interested what the time from Preparing to Ship and Delivery ends up being for you... purely for selfish reasons.
My 14" base model M3 Max is now on its way from China to Europe. It took a tour through China for 2 days before finally getting on a plane to Europe.
