Last time it was preparing to be shipped for 3 days, but this time only took 24hoursI'd be interested what the time from Preparing to Ship and Delivery ends up being for you... purely for selfish reasons.

I noticed a huge jump on my desktop experience when I got my studio, it's made my 2016 MBP feel horrible. I don't usually upgrade two machines in a year but its been such an impressive transition.MBP 16" M2Pro with 1TB SSD. 20% off approx. £500.
Coming from 2011 MBP.
Significant upgrade I could feel.
A good change you'll get it a day or 2 before from past experienceMBP14/SpaceBlack/M3Max/16C/48GB/1TB was just charged and switched to Preparing to Ship

According to Apples site holiday returns are in effect…Me too. I’m sitting here staring at the box. I might have to make two trips as I don’t think my higher spec’d max will get here within the two week return window.
You and I are in the same boat. Unbinned 40 core, 64gb, 2tb shipped last night at 12AM and says 13th.My M3 Max 16" unbinned 64GB/2TB shipped last night. Estimate was Nov 15-17. Apple's order page says delivers the 14th and UPS tracking says the 13th by end of day. Seems like the earlier orders moved up very slightly.

I guess it's due what comes out from the lithography process working. Maybe the yields of the Max chip are better than expected. A lot of 2TB 64GB configs have been mentioned too, so maybe that's a popular spec (it's what I've ordered too) so they're running larger batches of them.Interesting to see that custom configs for the unbinned Max are going out before the base config (that'll be on shelves presumably at some stores). Is what it is, of course, just twiddling my thumbs over here.
As it's in UPS hands they will give you an exact date. Apples date will be up and down even on the day UPS delivers itOrdered 16" M3 Max Space Black, 36gb ram, 2TB SSD on Monday 10/30 about 5 hours after orders were opened. Originally scheduled for a Nov 15th - 17th delivery time frame. CC got charged on 11/5 and flipped to preparing to ship on the tracker. 11/6 now says shipped. Was in Shanghai customs about 24 hours. Now on 11/8 it has arrived in Anchorage, AK!
UPS tracking app showing Fri 11/10 delivery -- Apple still showing Mon 11/13 delivery.
So either way looks like it will be here earlier than the original 11/15 - 11/17 estimate!!! Hopefully UPS is right and I'll get it this week!
I thought the max chips were available a week after the pro and normal m3 chips16" M3 Max - 48gb/1TB arrived today. Ordered right after the event.

That's extremely fast for BTO MacsMore generally, but there was some Max stock in-store yesterday and some of the very early Max BTO orders arrived on launch day as well. My roommate got in his 16" 16/40/128/4 machine yesterday.

They're expensive, but they last a long time. My 2008 MacBook Pro is still running for a family member. My 2012 Mac mini is still going.First Time I’ve ever spent 3,800 on a computer (including AppleCare)... EEEEEK lol
